About the job

Requirements
  • 1-4 years in an outbound-heavy role, or an alternative track record demonstrating the ability to learn quickly and win.
  • Comfortable speaking on the phone with strangers and handling rejection at volume.
  • Ability to write human-sounding cold emails that generate replies.
  • Ability to operate across both high-volume outbound and targeted, researched enterprise outbound motions.
  • Ability to quickly understand customers' e-commerce problems.
  • Ability to identify gaps and take ownership without being asked.
Responsibilities
  • Own the top of funnel through outbound email, cold calling, LinkedIn, events, communities, direct messages, and video, selecting and validating effective channels.
  • Run high-volume outbound to small and medium-sized e-commerce brands and targeted, researched, multi-threaded outbound into enterprise accounts.
  • Build and maintain prospect lists, ideal customer profile definitions, and data sources.
  • Develop fluency in e-commerce retention problems and lead conversations with those problems rather than a product pitch.
  • Write outbound copy, test it repeatedly, and discontinue ineffective approaches quickly.
  • Conduct frequent cold calls.
  • Build the outbound technology stack from scratch, including sequencers, data enrichment, signal-based triggers, and artificial-intelligence-assisted research and personalization.
  • Partner with the founding team and account executives on messaging, ideal customer profile refinement, and qualification, then feed learnings back into the go-to-market motion.
  • Document effective sequences, call frameworks, objection handling, and dashboards to build the outbound system.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience selling into e-commerce, retention, or marketing technology.
  • Familiarity with the retention stack, including Klaviyo, Postscript, and Attentive.
  • Experience building or scaling an outbound motion from zero.

About the company

LTV.ai is an AI-driven marketing platform for ecommerce that delivers personalized, conversational email and SMS campaigns, with a focus on post-purchase optimization to boost customer lifetime value. The platform connects with ecommerce systems like Shopify and BigCommerce to analyze customer data such as purchase history, location, and browsing behavior, and then generates hyper-personalized, two-way messages that can upsell, improve product recommendations, and manage loyalty programs. It emphasizes one-to-one, adaptive conversations and proactive AI-driven segmentation to identify high-value customers and churn risk. LTV.ai operates on a revenue-share model, aligning fees with the incremental revenue it helps clients generate. Its goal is to help ecommerce brands increase CLTV by delivering more effective post-purchase engagement and loyalty, a strategy backed by a Series A round of $5.2 million to expand engineering, infrastructure, and market reach.

What believers are saying

  • LTV.ai raised $5.2 million in March 2025, extending runway for hiring and infrastructure.
  • Named customers Fabletics, Backcountry, Sur La Table, and Cuyana prove enterprise merchant traction.
  • Shopify app distribution gives LTV.ai direct access to ecommerce operators already buying retention software.

What critics are saying

  • Klaviyo shipped AI Agents in June 2026, squeezing LTV.ai’s differentiation and pricing power.
  • Shopify Email and Sidekick reduce merchant need for third-party lifecycle tools by default.
  • LTV.ai has about 20 employees in 2026; one platform shift or churn wave becomes existential.
