Requirements
  • Demonstrate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, for analysis of financial data.
  • Demonstrate general knowledge of accounting-related information systems.
  • Have proven experience in automotive billing or a similar role.
  • Have strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
  • Have excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Be able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
  • Be able to manage a high-volume workload accurately.
  • Be able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Have a minimum of two years of dealership experience.
Responsibilities
  • Process lien payoffs, calculate commissions, and post new and used retail deals and wholesale transactions.
  • Perform bank reconciliations.
  • Review designated functional areas and prepare and post necessary month-end journal entries.
  • Prepare account reconciliations with supporting documentation, research differences from expected balances, and follow up on them.
  • Assist and communicate with various departments regarding monthly accounting reports and other accounting-related documents and information, and explain accounting department policies and procedures.
  • Perform other daily accounting duties as needed.
Desired Qualifications
  • Knowledge of billing software and systems.
  • Knowledge of the titling process.
  • Prior automotive accounting experience.
