  • Build and manage an onboarding and orientation program for new hires.
  • Design and lead a performance review framework and coach managers on goal-setting, expectations, and consistent feedback.
  • Facilitate one-to-one role reviews, workforce planning, and internal transitions to align staff strengths with roles and clear accountability.
  • Lead internal conflict resolution and workplace investigations, ensuring fair, prompt, and documented outcomes while safeguarding organizational integrity.
  • Serve as the primary liaison to the professional employer organization, managing platform administration, employee inquiries, and external vendor partnerships.
  • Maintain and refine the compensation framework, benchmarking roles against North Carolina hubs and national nonprofit data.
  • Oversee staff benefits programs, including employer-paid healthcare and 401(k) plans, and support enrollment and ongoing administration.
  • Establish, update, and enforce human resources policies, employee handbooks, and compliance standards across operating jurisdictions.
