Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in public health, public administration, health education, early childhood development/education or other behavioral or social science related field
  • Two years of job related public health program experience including contracts and direct training experience
  • Knowledge of public health program management principles and practices
  • Knowledge of public health interventions and quality improvement
  • General knowledge of federal and state laws related to grants and contracts
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including public speaking
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Responsibilities
  • Oversees one or more of the evidence-based home visiting models within the Healthy Montana Families Home Visiting Program
  • Develops evidence-based public health policies and interventions
  • Develops and implements health surveillance and data collection systems to track, analyze and evaluate programs and services
  • Coordinates program strategic planning and facilitates stakeholder groups
  • Plans and coordinates program outreach, training and support
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience evaluating, developing, and writing grant responses
  • Any other combinations of directly related education and experience may be considered on a case-by-case basis
