BK Technologies has unveiled Vision 2030 targets of $170 million in revenue, 60% gross margin and 35% EBITDA margin, which management says would triple earnings per share to $13 and generate approximately $55 million in free cash flow through organic growth alone. The land mobile radio manufacturer's product roadmap centres on multiband adoption, including the BKR 9500 in-vehicle radio set to ship in the first half of 2027 and a next-generation BKRX platform planned for 2029. The company is also developing BK ONE and BKRplay smartphone-integrated solutions for broadband and interoperability. Management aims to expand beyond its 90% wildland fire market share into Tier 3 public safety, targeting 10% market share from the current 3.6%. Capital allocation will prioritise reinvestment and software acquisitions, with shareholder returns considered only if excess cash is available.
BK Technologies reported fourth-quarter 2025 revenue of $21.5 million, up 20% year-on-year, with full-year revenue reaching $86.1 million, a 12.5% increase. The public safety communications provider exceeded guidance across all metrics. Fourth-quarter gross margin expanded to 50.4% from 41.2% in the prior year, whilst full-year gross margin rose to 48.8% from 37.9%. Diluted EPS reached $1.05 for the quarter and $3.44 for the year, compared to $0.93 and $2.25 respectively in 2024. The company ended the year with a record cash balance of $22.8 million and a debt-free balance sheet. BK Technologies plans to submit its BKR9500 multi-band mobile for FCC approval in the second half of 2026 and projects 2026 revenue of $90 million with gross margins exceeding 50%.
BK Technologies Corporation has launched LocateONE LITE, a software solution that provides off-grid team location awareness for first responders without additional hardware requirements. The product will be showcased at the 2026 International Wireless Communications Expo in Las Vegas from 16-19 March. LocateONE LITE uses BKR 9000 and BKR 5000 radios as gateways for location reporting, allowing first responders to share and visualise positions in real-time through the Android Team Awareness Kit map application. The software-first solution works in areas without cellular or broadband connectivity, targeting wildland firefighters and emergency personnel operating in remote terrain. The platform features seamless integration with ATAK, support for all BK Technologies radios through BKR gateway capability, and TAK server upload functionality for enhanced situational awareness.
