FIGS is looking for a Production Sample Assistant to join our Supply Chain and Production team. As a member of our team, this individual should have strong organization skills, effective communication across several platforms (email, Slack, Google), and the ability to work independently. The role will report directly to the Sr. Director of Supply Planning.

What you’ll do:

• Proactively work with Marketing on photoshoot needs for upcoming quarterly launches and subsequent shoot dates.
• Work with Production team and Planning team to issue PO’s to vendors in conjunction with bulk. Log PO’s, communicating with suppliers and tracking photoshoot samples from production through to pass off.
• Log photoshoot samples into sample tracker with flawless accuracy.
• Keep up to date with costing, quantity, style, or color code changes from Merchandising and Production.
• Submit any changes in a purchase order tracker and submit any changes to the vendors.
• Follow up with vendors for shipments and packing lists ensuring the requested goods are shipped in a timely manner for marketing.
• Keep Marketing samples organized before sample reviews and handoffs.
• Review photo shoot samples with Design to ensure samples are accurate to the bulk production on a weekly basis.
• Schedule weekly sample hand-offs with Marketing and keep a record of samples received and passed with dates and tracking information.
• Lead the initiative on cost savings for photoshoot and ambassador order samples to migrate the process via the FIGS Distribution Center.
• Attend and contribute when appropriate in all cross-functional meetings (Design, Tech Design, Product Development and Sourcing/Production).
• Support the global sourcing and production team as needed.

What you have:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management or related field
• 1-3 years of experience working with suppliers and projection management.
• Strong understanding of the supply chain process, logistics and inventory management is a plus.
• Strong communication skills to interact with vendors, suppliers, customers and other supply chain team members.
• Technical knowledge and understanding of integrated software systems.
• Problem-solving skills
• Sound judgment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Pay Range

• At FIGS, your base salary is one part of your total compensation package. This role’s hourly rate is between $21 and $30 an hour. Actual base salary is determined based on a number of factors, including but not limited to your relevant skills, qualifications, and years of experience.
