About the job
- At least 10 years of sales or technical experience.
- A Class G driver's license in good standing is required.
- Ability to climb, ascend, and descend ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, poles, and industrial equipment safely and effectively.
- Maintain the existing customer base, develop new business, and manage a small sales and service team.
- Manage existing accounts through direct on-site service and technical support.
- Work directly with customer operations, maintenance, and management.
- Develop and maintain strong customer and client relationships.
- Provide consultative services on water-treatment chemical and equipment applications across a variety of industries and processes.
- Drive sales growth and develop new customers.
- Manage and support Technical Services in smaller accounts within the territory.
- Respond to customer emergencies.
- Multitask and manage a large account base.
- Develop quotes and proposals for lateral and new sales.
- Communicate effectively with larger customers to understand their business needs.
- Report directly to the Regional Manager.
- Manage a small team of Technical Services staff and sellers, with 2–5 direct reports.
- Assist with new-business growth, quote preparation, and sales growth.
- Troubleshoot issues with the team.
- Help develop direct reports.
- Assist in meeting the growth goals of individuals and the team.
- A technical degree or Certified Water Technologist credential is preferred.
- Complete in-house training as needed to meet objectives.
- Complete field training with other representatives to meet objectives.

Kurita America has opened a new Engineering Center in Phoenix, Arizona, featuring a 10,900-square-foot warehouse and 3,800-square-foot office. The facility strengthens the company's ability to deliver engineering services and operational support across North America. The centre supports engineering, project delivery, technical training and field service throughout the lifecycle of water treatment facilities. It will house multidisciplinary teams specialising in mechanical, electrical and BIM design, alongside quality assurance, project management and procurement support. The expansion responds to growing project volumes and increasing demand for localised support beyond initial equipment delivery. Part of the global Kurita Group, Kurita America provides industrial water treatment solutions combining technologies, engineering, equipment and services.
MINNEAPOLIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Kurita America, part of the Kurita Group, a leading global provider of industrial water treatment solutions, today announced the amalgamation of Keytech Water Management Company (KTWM) with Kurita Canada Inc. (KCI). The integrated entity will be known as Kurita Canada Inc., headquartered in Kitchener, Ontario, and will serve customers throughout Canada. KTWM initially joined the Kurita Group in April 2021.
