Requirements
- The candidate must be flexible and willing to support the team when needed, including occasional holiday and absence cover.
- The candidate must be hands-on, able to use their own initiative, and willing to work independently as well as as part of a team.
- The candidate must be willing to learn and develop further skills.
- The candidate must be able to work some lone-working shifts where applicable.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to customers.
- Monitor the store and forecourt.
- Authorise fuel pumps and serve customers.
- Handle cash.
- Assist with stock deliveries, shelf restocking, stock rotation, and date checking.
- Advise customers on shop products, services, and offers.
- Keep the entire site clean and tidy.
- Maintain awareness of security within the store and on the forecourt.
- Provide holiday and sickness cover when required.
- Complete regular training to support role development.
