Requirements
  • A high school diploma is required.
  • Have 0–12 months of prior experience.
  • Demonstrate reliability and punctuality.
  • Develop active listening, verbal and written communication, and customer service skills.
  • Develop attention to detail, a sense of urgency, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Apply basic tools and resources.
  • Apply Adobe and Microsoft Office products, including Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint, and demonstrate proficiency in Excel.
  • Obtain a Property Casualty Resident’s License within 90 days of hire.
  • Meet the annual continuing education requirement.
  • Work under the direction and guidance of the Unit Leader, Unit Manager, or Client Team.
Responsibilities
  • Assist with client service deliverables aligned with assigned tasks.
  • Support account team members across functions as needed.
  • Assist other Account Associates during high-volume periods.
  • Provide new business, renewal, and general service support.
  • Enter agency management system data for new business, renewals, and special projects.
  • Order and file loss runs.
  • Generate certificate holder lists.
  • Download experience modification reports or request them from the insurance carrier.
  • Order flood zones.
  • Order ISO Prometrix reports.
  • Issue certificates.
  • Issue evidence of property.
  • Issue auto ID cards.
  • Learn and adopt MMA core values of collaboration, passion, innovation, and accountability.
Desired Qualifications
  • Have basic knowledge of an agency management system.
  • Have basic knowledge of available tools, including Reference Connect, Playbook, and MMA U.
  • Develop prioritization and organizational skills.
  • Understand the importance of strong carrier relationships despite having no direct carrier interaction.
  • Be eager to learn and work collaboratively.
