Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of construction safety experience
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA and Cal OSHA standards
  • Experience supporting industrial or commercial construction projects
  • Ability to manage multiple active jobsites
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Comfortable working in active construction environments
  • Proficient with safety documentation and reporting tools
Responsibilities
  • Implement and enforce Uprite Construction safety programs across active jobsites
  • Conduct regular jobsite safety inspections and audits
  • Identify hazards and ensure corrective actions are completed
  • Lead jobsite safety orientations and ongoing training for field personnel
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA and Cal OSHA regulations
  • Investigate incidents, near misses, and injuries and complete required reporting
  • Develop Job Hazard Analyses and Site Specific Safety Plans
  • Support Superintendents and Project Managers with safety planning and execution
  • Track safety metrics and prepare reports for leadership
  • Act as the primary safety contact for clients and inspectors
  • Promote a strong safety culture through leadership and example
Desired Qualifications
  • OSHA 30 Construction
  • CHST or CSP preferred
  • First Aid and CPR
  • Confined Space and Fall Protection training a plus
