  • Effective computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to use a computer to communicate via email.
  • Work products must be thorough, accurate, appropriately documented, and compliant with established criteria.
  • U.S. citizenship is required.
Responsibilities
  • Coordinate, schedule, sequence, and analyze safe furniture layouts for personnel moves, including furnishings and files, while ensuring the management and union approval process is followed.
  • Maintain furniture and property inventories, including landline and digital cell phones; assist with excessing unnecessary or damaged furniture; and organize deliveries to and from the Stevens Center Complex.
  • Maintain a current file identifying space availability and opportunity analysis.
  • Assist the cognizant Richland Operations Office organization as the assistant to the Building Administrator for the Stevens Center Complex and DOE-occupied portions of the GSA-owned Federal Building.
  • Interface day to day with the Stevens landlord or Building Manager and the GSA Property Manager.
  • Coordinate with the General Services Administration in support of parking needs and other property matters at the Richland Federal Building.
  • Assist with building issues at the Richland Federal Building and Stevens Center buildings, including renovations, modifications, service orders, notifications, janitorial contracts, building and employee needs, carpentry services, and new data and electrical port wiring.
  • Assist with market research for supplies supporting property and building needs while complying with specific requirements.
  • Collect data supporting budgets for additional building services, furniture, and special-needs or ergonomic evaluations.
  • Maintain AutoCAD drawings of building layouts and assigned occupancy for the Stevens Center and Richland Federal buildings.
  • Assist in reviewing Richland Operations Office procedures.
  • Assist with Emergency Notification Boards by ensuring they are properly maintained and their data is current and accurate.
  • Provide an estimated eight hours per month outside normal business hours to assist the Building Administrator for the Stevens Center Complex.
  • Protect classified information, special nuclear material, and other Department of Energy property in accordance with Department of Energy security regulations and requirements.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience working with PeopleCore, Visio, Excel, SketchUp, and AutoCAD software is preferred; training may be completed for these tools.
