  • Have 3–5+ years of direct experience working in Figma with UI/UX designers.
  • Have 2–4+ years of experience with website performance measurement tools such as Google Analytics, Search Console, Ahrefs, Looker Studio, or AppsFlyer.
  • Be comfortable collaborating across disciplines with UI/UX designers, developers, and data scientists to balance creativity and technical execution.
  • Possess U.S. work authorization.
  • Be based in San Francisco and ready for a collaborative, in-office role, with a minimum of four office days per week.

Responsibilities

  • Own the website experience roadmap and end-to-end delivery for world.org, worldfoundation.org, and toolsforhumanity.com, translating approved business objectives and content strategy into scoped projects, effective web experiences, and reliable releases.
  • Lead web intake, production planning, asset coordination, content management system operations, implementation, quality assurance, and continuous improvement, partnering with the Global Content Strategist, who owns editorial vision, messaging, content architecture, and writing.
  • Procure and produce all inputs and assets required for the websites, including copy, photography, video, user interface and user experience design, illustrations, quantitative research, case studies, and partner logos.
  • Coordinate delivery and feedback across content strategy, user interface and user experience design, brand design, development, and stakeholder groups.
  • Meet cross-functional stakeholders to understand business priorities and needs and create clear web briefs that enable seamless design and development handoffs.
  • Maintain processes and service-level agreements, move ideas from concept to launch, balance multiple website priorities, and anticipate needs before leadership review.
  • Own intake and backlog by triaging incoming website requests, obtaining missing requirements, setting timelines against published service-level agreements, and keeping stakeholders informed and unblocked.
  • Improve systems and efficiency, including through templating.
  • Review work in detail and quality-check it before senior review.
  • Manage budget and third-party vendors for photography, video, illustrations, and other visual assets, and collaborate with the Creative Producer on video content.
  • Collaborate with localization operations to ship each locale to the same standard as English without delays.
  • Write and maintain the WebOps runbook, including process documentation, best practices, standards, and content management system troubleshooting.
  • Support the Senior Lead, Growth Marketing & SEO in upholding website governance for accessibility, brand consistency, link integrity, redirect management, and regional privacy and consent requirements.
  • Scope briefs and handoff documents, including acceptance criteria, edge cases, and responsive and localized states, so content strategists, writers, designers, and developers can execute with minimal follow-up.
  • Create design concepts or templates to communicate direction to designers and ensure work meets the creative standard.
  • Ensure website content aligns with the brand design system; final design approvals are made by the Head of Brand Design.
  • Use AI web development tools to stage and deploy website fixes when needed.
  • Partner with internal and external teams, including translations, product, operations, legal, communications, agencies, and other vendors, to deliver work to a high standard and on time.
  • Collaborate with the Global Content Strategist and translate between designers and copywriters so content meets design requirements and best practices.
  • Work directly in the content management system and proactively suggest alternatives when it is not working effectively.
  • Run the web experimentation program with guidance from the Senior Lead, Growth Marketing & SEO: form hypotheses, ship A/B tests and personalization on high-traffic pages, report results honestly, and incorporate winning approaches into the design system.
  • Report on a fixed cadence using a fixed metric set covering traffic, engagement, conversion, page health, and organic visibility, and connect site changes to business outcomes.
  • Support the Senior Lead, Growth Marketing & SEO in executing SEO strategy and technical requirements and maintaining a healthy website backend.
  • Use Google Analytics, Ahrefs, and Search Console to measure and report website performance.
  • Use analytics platforms to identify trending and topically related terms and prioritize content production.
  • Structure pages for search engines and AI discoverability through clear hierarchy, consistent labeling, citation-ready formatting, and schema.
  • Follow the internal linking strategy, prioritizing anchor text and links to designated subject hub pages.
  • Oversee end-to-end AI web workflows with clear direction and discernment, using AI tools for tasks such as draft and variant generation, translation pre-processing, quality assurance, link auditing, and structured data.
  • Occasionally lead or support non-website initiatives such as email newsletters and enterprise email communications.
  • Find partners or internal processes to deliver ideas efficiently, such as sourcing a photographer and running a photoshoot.

Desired Qualifications

  • Fluency with AI web production tools and modern content management systems, including the ability to build and publish pages and diagnose layout or responsive issues sufficiently to write actionable developer tickets.
  • Copywriting experience.
  • Experience with consumer brands at global scale.
  • Experience in a regulated or high-scrutiny category.
  • Video production experience.
  • Photography experience.
  • SEO experience.
  • Product design experience.
