As a solution architect on our team, you'll translate your customer’s IT needs and future goals into a plan by crafting complex IT solutions. You Have:
6+ years of experience designing large-scale enterprise solutions, integrating disparate technologies, and implementing security controls
Experience working with cloud computing platforms, including Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
Experience with generating solutions for AI enabled software development
Experience implementing solutions using modern system architecture principles, including microservices
Experience modernizing enterprise software delivery in support of digital transformation
Experience managing technical delivery
Top Secret clearance
Bachelor's degree
Nice If You Have:
Experience working closely with software development teams
Experience with project, task, and team leadership
Experience designing, modifying, developing, writing, and implementing software programming applications using agile methods
Experience evaluating architectural tradeoffs and designing robust service-based software applications for scalable enterprise production use
Experience with full-stack development in a professional environment for enterprise production capabilities
Knowledge of SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS models
Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
Possession of excellent listening skills
Master’s degree
AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Certification, including AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate Certification
Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $99,000.00 to $225,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. Builds AI and cyber systems for the US government
Booz Allen builds and runs technology for the U.S. government, mostly for the military and intelligence agencies, and its engineers work alongside consultants who know each agency's mission. In 1958, it helped the U.S. Navy create PERT, a project-scheduling method first used on the Polaris submarine missile program and later adopted across government and industry. Its teams design cyber defenses, AI and data tools, and battlefield communications, and it sells its own products, such as Vellox, a suite of AI tools that spot and fight off hackers. Agencies pay mainly through multi-year contracts that reimburse costs, bill hours, or set a fixed price. Booz Allen was founded in 1914 and is based in McLean, Virginia.
