The Opportunity

Join us in tackling healthcare for rural America! We’re seeking a Care Operations Technology Specialist to be a key contributor to our IT team who is passionate about having positive societal impact and using technology for good - solving issues of health inequity for communities that have been perennially underserved.

What you’ll do:

athenaOne EHR configuration and support (Tablespace, configuration, standardization)
Expert/admin in our internal toolset as well as deep knowledge of related tools (Zus, Genesys, customer.io, Availity, etc)
First responder to platform issues identified by care teams. Triage with the Product and Engineering teams as needed
Perform testing and validation of new platform features
Assist in troubleshooting issues with telehealth visits for staff and clients
Partner with the Product team to build out tools and documentation for efficient delivery of telehealth
Support and troubleshoot remote access to our systems in rural areas (satellite, multi-carrier cellular, etc…)
Build a knowledge base to assist staff and clients with known issues
Document supported systems and interconnected service providers

What you bring:

Experience with athenaOne, including Tablespace management and organization
Background in support and testing of web-based applications. Healthcare experience preferred
Strong communication skills, comfortable working with staff (and potentially members) with varying levels of technical ability
Quick learner, adaptable, eager to explore tools and technologies
Understanding of cybersecurity requirements and IT best practices in the healthcare space (HIPAA, PHI handling, etc…)
2-3 years in a similar support role
Bachelors Degree in a related field or equivalent experience

The base salary range for this role is $65,000 - 95,000. Compensation may vary depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, location, competencies and experience. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work at Homeward Health. This role is eligible for an annual bonus, stock options, as well as a comprehensive benefits package.
