  • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
Responsibilities
  • Oversee and establish standardized training, proficiency, and qualification programs for Test & Evaluation personnel
  • Establish and maintain a standardized approach to creating, updating, and publishing written procedures, checklists, manuals, and other documents required for the execution of test-related activities
  • Establish and manage policies and regulations for flight activities IAW FARs, DCMA regulations, and service guidance best practices
  • Establish and maintain an aviation flight safety program
  • Establish and maintain safety programs, SOPs, and/or policies for multiple test sites to standardize operations
  • Serve as liaison to the Government Flight Representative as needed
  • Serve as liaison to the Federal Aviation Administration as needed
  • Serve as Aviation Safety Officer for Anduril flight operations
  • Establish and maintain a Safety and Standardization Council to proliferate updated requirements, review lessons learned, and share ideas for the continuous improvement of test operations, including flight test
  • Be prepared to conduct safety investigations into ground and flight test-related incidents and report findings to Anduril leadership as required
  • Review all incidents, track derivative issues, and ensure closure of all issues with subsequent out briefings that connect root cause analysis to root cause corrective actions
  • Maintain the incident response / pre-accident program for flight related activities
  • Establish risk acceptance policy to include training of both risk acceptance authorities and test personnel
  • Track statistical data relating to ground and flight test-related incidents for trend analysis and potential corrective recommendations
