Requirements
  • 3–5 years of experience in .NET Core and API development.
  • Strong understanding of RESTful API design principles, software design patterns, and secure coding standards.
  • Experience with Entity Framework, SQL Server, and version control systems such as Git.
  • Hands-on experience with front-end development using React, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • Experience with modern front-end tooling and build systems such as Vite and Webpack, and state management libraries.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Infrastructure as Code such as Terraform, and cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
  • Experience using modern AI tools such as GitHub Copilot and Claude Code to improve productivity where appropriate.
  • Good problem-solving skills and understanding of scalable system design.
Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs using .NET Core.
  • Work with data from SQL databases such as Microsoft SQL Server, NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, and external APIs.
  • Follow secure coding practices throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate APIs with frontend and backend systems.
  • Build and maintain responsive, accessible user interfaces using React, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • Optimize API performance and ensure scalability.
  • Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement.
  • Work with CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code tools to automate deployments.
  • Leverage modern developer tools such as GitHub Copilot to improve productivity where appropriate.
Desired Qualifications
  • Basic awareness of AI and large language model concepts or experience consuming AI APIs, including simple integrations.
  • Familiarity with tools or platforms from providers such as Anthropic.
  • Experience developing, building, and deploying financial-services-grade applications and platforms.
  • Knowledge of core Azure services, including Azure Functions, Azure API Management, Azure Service Bus, Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Azure Front Door, and Azure CDN.
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
