About the job
- A bachelor's degree from an accredited university and 7 years of information technology experience, or 10 years of technical experience.
- Experience supporting web banking applications and application development.
- Five years of full life-cycle development experience in an enterprise development environment.
- Five years of experience with Windows Server 2012, SQL Server 2012, PowerShell, data modeling, and Transact-SQL.
- At least five years of experience with relational databases, preferably DB2, SQL Server, and associated technologies and tools.
- Proficiency in writing and debugging SQL statements.
- Proficiency in .NET Framework 4.5 and IIS 8.5.
- At least two years of experience with WebSphere Application Server administration.
- Four years of experience using Visio, Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Handle all aspects of application software development, including estimation, analysis, design, programming, installation and configuration, unit and integration testing, and code debugging for medium- to large-scale development initiatives with medium to high complexity.
- Work with clients and other technical teams to create design specifications and documentation for multifunction systems and applications.
- Create estimates for design, development, testing, and implementation tasks for oneself and other developers.
- Identify potential issues in projects and assignments and lead them to resolution.
- Perform programming and configuration development, unit and integration testing, and defect resolution.
- Use software development tools.
- Conduct unit testing according to department standards.
- Provide accurate work breakdown structures and project schedule dates.
- Drive high-quality code by conducting code walkthroughs with the development team.
- Create technical documentation for transition to the production support team.
- Perform technical analysis and make recommendations on medium- to large-scale initiatives with medium to high complexity.
