Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in a business or quantitative STEM field (e.g., Computer Science, Web Development, Graphic Design, Business Analytics)
  • 3+ years experience as a full-stack developer working on cloud-based applications
  • Strong proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern frameworks (e.g., React, Vue.js, or Angular)
  • Expertise in UI/UX design principles and experience with design tools (e.g., Sketch, Figma, or Adobe XD)
  • Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform services (Compute Engine, Cloud Functions, Cloud Storage, etc.)
  • Experience with serverless development and REST API integrations
  • Knowledge of Python and SQL databases like Snowflake
  • Familiarity with NLP concepts and dialog systems a plus
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams
  • Self-directed and able to drive projects to completion
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in cloud-native infrastructures
Responsibilities
  • Design and implement responsive, user-friendly web interfaces for our chatbot applications
  • Create intuitive and visually appealing UI/UX designs for chatbot interactions
  • Develop and maintain both front-end and back-end components of our web applications
  • Deployment, configuration, and management of infrastructure via infrastructure as code
  • Work hands-on with cloud infrastructure (GCP preferred)
  • Integrate conversational tools with Slack and other required systems to power a conversational interface
  • Write Python Cloud Functions to support product API integrations with external AI/NLP agents (ex: Anthropic AI)
  • Work closely with data scientists and UX designers to optimize conversation flows and identify opportunities to improve user experience
  • Continuously improve chatbot capabilities by training NLP models and tuning dialog logic
  • Monitor and troubleshoot issues with live chatbot to maintain optimal uptime and performance
  • Implement security best practices for data privacy and system access
  • Continuous improvement of our infrastructure, ensuring that it is highly available and observable
