- Must be a Northwestern State University student pursuing a degree in Information Technology.
- Must have completed at least one year of college study in Information Technology.
- Must have advanced computer skills in Microsoft Suite products, basic networking, hardware setup and configuration, and application programming.
- Learn about the Information Systems Department.
- Shadow and assist team members across network and infrastructure, including cybersecurity; desktop, printer, and peripheral support; help desk and customer service; clinical and financial applications; desktop application support; and administrative responsibilities.
- Complete additional projects based on departmental needs and the student's capabilities.
- Demonstrated willingness to learn the workings of an information technology department.
- A dedicated, self-starting approach and a desire to succeed.

Natchitoches Regional Medical Center is a rural health system anchored by a 96-bed hospital in northwest Louisiana.
