G Adventures introduces new flexible booking options.

G Adventures introduces new flexible booking options. 20.08.26 | Open Jaw Booking the trip of a lifetime should be exciting, not stressful. But even the most organized traveller can't always predict what's around the corner. G Adventures has travellers' backs when plans change, with the launch of their new Stay Flexy Adventure Plans. The new three-tier flexible booking options are designed to make it easier for travellers to commit to the adventure of a lifetime, without the nagging voice in their head asking: "But what if something comes up?" It is the latest move from G Adventures to remove barriers to booking and give travellers the confidence and peace of mind to say yes to travel. Because life happens. Plans change. Work gets busy. Best friends get engaged. Or, travellers simply change their minds. G Adventures gets it. The new Flexy, Flexier and Flexiest options give travellers greater choice over what happens to their money if their plans change, with enhanced cancellation terms, Future Travel Credits and additional pre-departure perks available on the higher tiers. G Adventures has always done things differently, from low deposits and its industry-leading Lifetime Deposit programme to guaranteed departures that mean travellers can book with confidence. Stay Flexy Adventure Plans is the next step in lowering the barrier to adventure, helping travellers feel more confident when booking a trip of a lifetime. "Booking an adventure should be exciting, not daunting, and these new flexible booking options provide agents with another tool to help turn 'I'm thinking about it' into 'I'm booking it'. That final moment of hesitation is often driven by uncertainty, rather than a lack of desire to travel. Flex helps remove that uncertainty and offers travellers peace of mind when they lock in their adventure," says David Green, Global VP, Customer Sales & Solutions and Managing Director, Canada. "Flex is commissioned at the same rate as the tour itself and is non-refundable, meaning commission is protected, making it a great earning opportunity for our agent partners. Trip add-ons, such as pre or post nights or transfers, added at a later date, are also automatically protected by an existing flexible booking option at no extra cost. It's designed to be a genuinely useful product for agents, not another thing to explain at the point of sale." Meet the Stay Flexy Adventure Plans: FLEXY - for the 'I'm pretty sure I'm going' traveller G Adventures' standard flexible option provides a full refund for trips departing more than 60 days away, giving travellers an added layer of reliability if things shift after booking. * 60+ days before departure: Full refund with Lifetime Deposit kept on file * 59-30 days: Up to 50% of tour value refunded, with the remainder subject to cancellation terms and Lifetime Deposit * 29 days or less: Lifetime Deposit retained, with the remainder subject to cancellation fees FLEXIER - for the "I'm going, but let's not tempt fate" traveller Flexier extends the cancellation window and converts more cancellation penalties into Future Travel Credits, keeping travellers' money in play for their next adventure. It also comes with a few extras designed to have travellers' backs before they even leave home, including 1GB travel eSim, lost luggage protection of up to $500 USD, priority service and double the trees grown on their behalf while on trip. * 60+ days before departure: Full refund with Lifetime Deposit kept on file * 59-30 days: 50% refund, with the remainder split between Lifetime Deposit and Future Travel Credit * 29-21 days: Lifetime Deposit and Future Travel Credit, meaning 100% of traveller money is protected * 20 days or less: Lifetime Deposit retained, with the remainder subject to cancellation fees FLEXIEST - for the "I want ALL the reassurance" traveller For travellers making a big commitment, booking further in advance or simply wanting maximum flexibility, Flexiest pushes the protection window even further and offers 3GB eSim, lost luggage protection up to $1,000 USD, priority service and double the trees grown on their behalf while on trip. * 60+ days before departure: Full refund, with Lifetime Deposit kept on file * 59-21 days: 50% refund, with the remainder split between Lifetime Deposit and Future Travel Credit * 20-5 days: Lifetime Deposit and Future Travel Credit, meaning 100% of traveller money is protected * 4 days or less: Lifetime Deposit retained, with the remainder subject to cancellation fees

G Adventures launches Tanzania tours inspired by Travel Guides.

G Adventures launches Tanzania tours inspired by Travel Guides. 29/06/2026 1 min. read G Adventures has unveiled two new Tanzania itineraries following its partnership with Channel 9's Travel Guides, using national television exposure to drive interest in East Africa and create new sales opportunities for Australian travel advisors. The new tours coincide with the airing of a dedicated Tanzania episode of Travel Guides on 29 June, showcasing G Adventures' community tourism experiences alongside the destination's wildlife and cultural attractions. New itineraries target growing demand for Africa. The operator has introduced the 12-day Serengeti Safari & Zanzibar itinerary, travelling from Arusha to Stone Town and featuring safari drives through Serengeti National Park and Ngorongoro Crater. The itinerary also includes visits to two Planeterra community tourism projects - the Clean Cookstove Project and a community lunch hosted by local women - as well as time exploring the Tanzanian community of Mto wa Mbu. Joining G Adventures' premium Geluxe Collection is the new 10-day Tanzania & Zanzibar: The Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater & Island Shores itinerary, which combines luxury accommodation with active experiences, including wildlife safaris, cultural encounters and a two-night stay at Serengeti Tortilis Camps. Campaign aims to convert inspiration into bookings. G Adventures said the television partnership represents its largest consumer marketing investment for East Africa in Australia and is designed to capitalise on growing interest in the region. Regional Marketing Manager Adelle Clements said Africa remained one of the fastest-growing long-haul destinations for Australian travellers. "Witnessing once-in-a-lifetime safari encounters and the welcoming hospitality of East African communities and cultures remains one of the world's most transformational travel experiences," she said. "This is the largest investment we've made in showcasing the region to Aussies and gives agents a unique opportunity to convert national consumer inspiration into bookings through two new itineraries." The operator will also host a series of travel advisor events with members of the Travel Guides cast in Brisbane, Perth, Sydney and Melbourne during July.
