  • Genero, Playoff, and Ecologic broaden 2026 Nordic, Iberian, and Polish expansion.
  • Its ecosystem now includes 40+ mission-critical software companies, improving cross-sell leverage.

What critics are saying

  • Everfield’s 2026 acquisition spree strains integration across Iberia, Nordics, and DACH.

  • If founder retention weakens, Everfield’s buy-and-hold thesis collapses into fragmented churn.

The acquisition gives Amero a long-term owner with a focus on scaling vertical software solutions, while the ambitions for growth continue from Aarhus, according to a press release. "With Everfield, we get a long-term owner who understands our business and our culture - and who allows us to continue the development of Amero. This puts us in a strong position to build the company further - while strengthening our solutions and maintaining the close relationship with our customers," says Jakob Højland, CEO of Amero. Builds on specialized software.
