About the job

Requirements
  • Solid experience building backend services in Python from design through production.
  • Comfort with streaming data pipelines, publish-subscribe systems, and real-time messaging systems.
  • Understanding of designing for throughput, reliability, and fault tolerance in distributed systems.
  • Ability to simulate high-load conditions and deliver code that is testable, measurable, and production-ready.
  • Ability to solve performance-sensitive problems that do not fit conventional CRUD APIs and evaluate performance trade-offs.
Responsibilities
  • Help scale the systems behind yeet’s real-time observability platform.
  • Build and maintain streaming systems, high-throughput data ingestion, and asynchronous task pipelines that replicate elastically and remain reliable under load.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, Redis, Postgres, or DuckDB in production environments.
  • Familiarity with asynchronous frameworks such as asyncio and Celery for task queues and background jobs.
  • Hands-on experience with real-time protocols, including WebSockets and gRPC streaming, and event-driven architectures.
  • Prior exposure to observability or monitoring platforms, especially in high-scale environments.
  • A track record of building or scaling high-throughput ingestion pipelines for data storage and processing.
  • Experience with Terraform and comfort contributing to infrastructure design.

About the company

Yeet provides a real-time system observability platform built on eBPF that lets engineers monitor Linux kernel behavior as it happens. Users write JavaScript to subscribe to a live system graph (processes, CPU, memory, network, Docker), with data streamed to the browser and stored in an in-browser DuckDB for SQL queries. Probes run in secure V8 isolates, and the toolset includes a CLI, a package manager (YPM), and a web UI for remote deployment and visualization. The goal is to give site reliability engineers and system administrators immediate answers and live troubleshooting capabilities when traditional dashboards fall short.

What believers are saying

  • July 6, 2026: Yeet launched an L7 firewall in-kernel with JavaScript policy.
  • August 2026 posts on Redis slowness and Trivy defense show expanding real workloads.
  • March 2025 funding of $7.8 million from Dragonfly supplies runway for 2026 GTM.

What critics are saying

  • Kernel-loaded probes and curl -fsSL installs trigger security objections in 2026 enterprise procurement.
  • Traversal, Datadog, and CrowdStrike already own observability budgets and incident workflows.
  • Linux-only, host-installed live tooling stays niche; weak adoption kills Yeet before 2027.

What makes yeet unique

  • Yeet runs eBPF probes through JavaScript, not dashboards and after-the-fact telemetry.
  • Yeet streams live host data into browser DuckDB for SQL analysis.
  • Yeet packages observability tools as deployable modules with yeetd, YPM, and yeetRPC.

YEET TO RETURN AS PRESENTING PARTNER OF TRITON SUPER HIGH ROLLER SERIES EVENT IN JEJU

YEET to return as presenting partner of Triton Super High Roller Series event in Jeju. Triton Poker Series today confirms the renewal of its collaboration with YEET.com, the crypto casino and sportsbook returning as presenting partner of the upcoming Triton Super High Roller Series in Jeju, South Korea. The partnership builds on YEET's successful debut as presenting partner of the $250,000 Triton Invitational at WSOP Paradise in December 2025, and extends the relationship into what will be Triton Poker Series' 10th year. Ben Lamb, YEET co-founder and two-time World Series of Poker bracelet winner, says, "When we partnered with Triton in the Bahamas, it was about proving that a crypto-native brand belongs on the biggest stage in poker. Coming back for Jeju, and Triton's 10th anniversary, is about building something lasting." He adds, "The values are aligned: both YEET and Triton believe that the player experience comes first, and that the best way to earn trust is to deliver on that promise every single day." The Triton Poker Super High Roller Series is a 17-tournament festival at LES A Casino, Jeju, South Korea. The $100,000 NLH Main Event takes place March 24-26, with the $100,000 PLO Main Event running March 29-31. The festival begins Triton Poker Series' 10th anniversary celebrations, a decade since its first event in Parañaque, in the Philippines, in 2016. Lamb was one of the first players to appear on the Triton Poker Series in its earliest seasons, and won a title in Montenegro in 2019. He says he is proud to extend his long association with the world's most prestigious high-stakes poker tour. "YEET was built by people who live and breathe this world of gambling," Lamb says. "I've competed on the Triton stage as a player. Now as a founder, it's a privilege to help support the series that has done more than any other to elevate the standards of high-stakes poker. Triton's 10th anniversary is a milestone worth celebrating, and YEET is proud to be part of it." He says he will play in the $100,000 No-Limit Hold'em Main Event in Jeju as well as all of the Pot Limit Omaha events to follow. About YEET YEET is a next-generation crypto casino, sportsbook and gaming platform built for speed, transparency, and entertainment.
