Requirements
  • Five years of mechanical piping experience.
  • At least five years of experience in the construction industry.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to use time productively, maximize efficiency, and meet challenging work goals.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Ability to define the role, assume responsibilities, make quick decisions, and manage priorities with minimal guidance.

Responsibilities
  • Participate in building information modeling coordination of mechanical systems, provide constructability feedback and virtual quality assurance and quality control, and answer related questions.
  • Review contract drawings and shop drawings with the construction foreman during the planning phase to align the plan with the installation strategy.
  • Ensure the installation strategy complies with project requirements.
  • Create comprehensive quality assurance plans outlining quality standards, procedures, and specifications.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, company policies, and client requirements.
  • Maintain detailed records of inspections, tests, and quality assessments using company technology solutions.
  • Prepare and distribute quality assurance and quality control reports to relevant stakeholders.
  • Work with project teams to implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Inspect mechanical installations for adherence to design specifications and quality standards.
  • Provide guidance and support to installation teams to achieve high-quality workmanship.
  • Provide training for project managers, foremen, and installation teams on best practices for mechanical installations.
  • Provide hands-on guidance and support during the installation process.
  • Develop and share standard operating procedures for mechanical installations.
  • Ensure team members are familiar with and adhere to these procedures.
  • Participate in project quality risk assessment meetings and provide input on quality-related issues.
  • Help project managers and foremen identify potential quality risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Establish quality checkpoints at critical project stages to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Conduct regular site visits to verify adherence to quality plans and standards.
  • Identify and implement quality enhancements to promote continuous improvement.
  • Support project teams in building piping testing and fill-and-flush plans.
  • Visit ongoing projects to check installation quality and support field teams in resolving identified quality issues.
  • Work with project managers to align cost codes with a constructability plan.
