Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent
  • 3+ years hands-on experience designing electrical harnessing for rugged commercial, industrial, aerospace, or military applications
  • Experience working directly with harness manufacturers
  • Familiarity with common electrical bus interfaces
  • Familiar with existing applicable harness standards and MIL-STD requirements
  • Knowledge of SWaP for power, network, and communications systems
  • Exceptional organization and communication skills
  • U.S. Person status
  • Eligible to obtain and hold a U.S. Top Secret security clearance
Responsibilities
  • Provide engineering expertise to design, fabricate, and integrate harness systems
  • Investigate, plan, design, and develop harnesses to meet technical requirements
  • Research, select, and procure appropriate connectors, back-shells, contacts, wire, shielding, and cable construction
  • Develop and generate harness system block diagrams and wire diagrams
  • Participate in design reviews and provide input
  • Prepare harness assembly instructions and test procedures
  • Provide guidance to the electrical team
  • Work in a fast-paced environment supporting new developments and deployments
  • Manage involvement in multiple projects
