- Handle food using proper food-handling and food-safety techniques according to established policies and procedures.
- Serve food in an attractive, appetizing manner and use proper tasting techniques to ensure quality standards are met before service.
- Maintain proper food temperature during preparation and service and record temperatures according to established policy.
- Follow procedures for serving partner meals.
- Communicate with residents, family members, and visitors in a warm and friendly manner; respond to expressed concerns helpfully and professionally, and answer questions when appropriate.
