Requirements

Responsibilities
  • Performs test system and electro-mechanical fixture development, documentation, research, studies, and limited design work as assigned by Test Development Engineering Department.
  • Functions as support personnel for Test Engineering.
  • Works on assignments with close supervision. All work output is reviewed by a member or members of Test Engineering.
  • Potential use of small hand and/or power tools.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by Management.
Desired Qualifications
  • A basic understanding of electricity, hardware and software development methodologies, and programming skills are highly desirable.

ZOLL's Zenix monitor/defibrillator receives EU MDR approval for EMS and hospital use

ZOLL, an Asahi Kasei company manufacturing medical devices, has announced that its Zenix monitor/defibrillator received approval under the European Union Medical Device Regulation 2017/745. The device is designed for use in both emergency medical services and hospital settings. Zenix features a large touchscreen and on-the-fly customisation capabilities, allowing healthcare professionals to make real-time adjustments during critical situations. The device incorporates ZOLL's Real BVM Help and Real CPR Help technology, providing clinical feedback to improve ventilation quality and CPR delivery. According to Elijah White, president of ZOLL Acute Care Technology, virtually all device functions are accessible with three screen-touches or fewer. Zenix joins ZOLL's existing portfolio of professional monitors and defibrillators, including the X Series, R Series and M2 models.
