Eurowag adjusted earnings rise as migration to Eurowag Office advances. 9th Sep 2026 11:32 (Alliance News) - Wag Payment Solutions PLC on Wednesday reported a climb in adjusted earnings amid a higher number of active trucks. Also known as Eurowag, the London-based company provides payment and data services to trucking companies in Europe. Eurowag said pretax profit fell 47% to EUR8.4 million in the first half of 2026, from EUR15.7 million a year prior. However, adjusted earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation rose 10% to EUR70.6 million from EUR63.9 million. Adjusted Ebitda cash climbed 13% to EUR55.7 million from EUR49.2 million. Pertinently, Eurowag views 2026 as a "migration" year as the firm is transitioning its customer base onto its new unified digital platform, Eurowag Office. Revenue rose 19% to EUR1.38 billion from EUR1.16 billion, as the number of total active trucks rose 7.0% to 334,800 from 321,500. Chief Executive Officer Martin Vohanka said: "The progress we are making in 2026 positions us well for the next phase of our strategy. As integration and migration advance, we will increasingly be able to leverage the power of a single digital platform and proprietary data to deepen product penetration, increase customer engagement and drive greater operating leverage. From 2027, our focus will shift towards scaling and monetising Eurowag Office, unlocking the benefits of our integrated model to deliver greater value for our customers and drive sustainable, profitable growth." The company said: "During the remainder of the year, our primary strategic focus will remain the successful migration of customers to Eurowag Office. As migration advances, the remaining cohorts will increasingly include larger customers and those using more UX-intensive products and workflows. We will continue to prioritise a carefully managed, high-quality customer experience while maintaining disciplined growth and profitability." Eurowag upgraded the bottom end of its adjusted cash Ebitda range guidance for 2026, now expecting between EUR110 million and EUR115 million, compared to a prior guidance of between EUR105 million and EUR115 million. Eurowag shares fell 1.2% to 98.80 pence each on late Wednesday morning in London. By Tom Budszus, Alliance News slot editor Related Shares:

The freight and road payments processor upped its FY26 adjusted cash EBITDA guidance to between €110m and €115m from between €105m and €115m. Founder and chief executive Martin Vohánka said: "Sharecast delivered a strong and resilient first-half year performance, with double-digit net revenue growth, robust margins and lower leverage, while making significant progress through the integration and migration phase to Eurowag Office. "We are pleased to have reached a key milestone, with more than 65% of our customers now actively using the platform, customer engagement continuing to grow and the majority of our services available on the platform. Delivering these results through a volatile geopolitical and macroeconomic environment demonstrates the resilience of our business and keeps us on track to deliver our full-year guidance." Procurement Magazine announces exclusive webinar with Coupa, Rossum, Eurowag and Accenture. Industry experts to share practical strategies for eliminating AP fragmentation, improving spend visibility and accelerating finance transformation through AI London, UK - 16 June 2026 - Procurement Magazine is pleased to announce an exclusive webinar in partnership with Coupa and Rossum, The Global Accounts Payable Blueprint: Eliminating Fragmentation for Real-Time Visibility, taking place on 17 June 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM BST. As organisations continue to scale and evolve, finance, procurement and IT teams are increasingly challenged by fragmented systems, manual processes and disconnected workflows. These inefficiencies often create blind spots in spend visibility, delay payments, increase risk and limit an organisation's ability to maintain control over budgets and supplier relationships. This webinar will explore how leading organisations are addressing these challenges through AI-powered automation, integrated procure-to-pay strategies and intelligent transactional workflows. Attendees will gain practical insights into how technology is helping businesses improve operational efficiency, strengthen compliance and create greater transparency across the source-to-pay lifecycle. Learn from a Real-World Transformation A key highlight of the session will be a customer success story from Eurowag, the international mobility and financial services provider, which partnered with Coupa, Rossum and Accenture to standardise its procure-to-pay processes following a period of rapid growth through acquisition. By implementing automated accounts payable solutions and contract lifecycle management capabilities, Eurowag successfully transformed its finance operations, achieving: * 100% standardised AP processes across the organisation * A 70% automation rate * A reduction in invoice processing times from nine days to four * More than 90% on-time payment performance * A 30% improvement in paid-on-time metrics * Enhanced compliance, fraud prevention and audit readiness "Coupa provides a clear, traceable link between purchase orders, receipts and invoices - supporting finance and compliance with a reliable audit trail," said Marcella Mathes, Head of Finance Processes and Digital Finance at Eurowag. Expert Perspectives from Across the Industry The webinar will feature a panel of experts representing procurement, finance, technology and transformation functions: * Petr Podávka, Accounts Payable Manager, Eurowag * Alexander Boehme, Manager Solutions Advisory, Coupa * Sam Overton, Regional Vice President, Rossum * Jarda Privoznik, Technology Delivery Associate Director, Accenture Together, they will discuss how organisations can leverage automation and AI to streamline AP processes, improve supplier management, strengthen governance and build a more resilient operating model. Exploring the Future of Autonomous Spend Management The session comes shortly after Coupa's acquisition of Rossum, announced at Coupa Inspire 2026. The acquisition expands the companies' existing partnership and brings intelligent document processing capabilities deeper into the source-to-pay ecosystem. Attendees will hear how AI-powered transactional intelligence is helping organisations move towards more autonomous finance operations while maintaining the controls and visibility required in today's increasingly complex business environment. As procurement and finance leaders face growing pressure to drive efficiency, reduce costs and manage risk, understanding the role of AI within spend management has never been more important.
