- Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field
- 0-3 years' experience in capital markets, structured finance, lender finance, warehouse lending, or investment banking
- Experience working with large datasets a plus
- FinTech experience a plus
- Desire to achieve an MBA and / or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation is highly recommended and supported
- Desire to learn or knowledge of Python, Power Query, Power BI, and SQL
- Self-starter who can work with minimal supervision and interacts well with other parties
- Outstanding initiative, communication skills (verbal and written), critical thinking skills, with attention to detail and accuracy required
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel required and knowledge of financial modeling a plus
- Strong attention to detail
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet project deadline requirements
- Assist in the evaluation of potential opportunities by participating in due diligence, financial statement analysis, financial modeling, risk management analysis, and execution
- Works in a collaborative environment to perform detailed financial analysis and assist in building complex transaction models for new and existing warehouse – structured finance transactions
- Conduct normalization, transformation, and consolidation on unique data sets of consumer and commercial loan tapes or transaction files
- Conducts static pool analysis on lending portfolios. Prepares visualizations and reports to summarize key findings
- Works in a collaborative environment to develop, support, and enhance structured finance models and scenario analysis to examine the profitability of lending programs and structured finance facilities
- Develops ad-hoc analysis, periodic reporting, and presentations to effectively communicate expected performance, actual performance and risk of a program to senior management
- Provide analytical and operational support in managing the bank’s warehouse lending business
- Build solutions to manage growing amount of data that enables the team to realize the full value of the data accurately and efficiently
- Assist in reviewing warehouse lending term sheets, legal documentation, deal reporting, risk and return metrics, preparation of deal approval write ups, and presentations to the bank’s Executive Credit Committee
- Contribute to the development, preparation and distribution of the monthly warehouse lending internal reporting package
- Perform and present periodic reviews on existing warehouse lending deals
- Assist in developing warehouse lending performance reporting
- Assist in structured finance transaction due diligence, financial modeling, risk management and legal documentation
