As a member ofAnthology’sBusiness Planning & Analyticsorganization within Student Success, you will be part of adata-focuseddelivery team working withboth internal and external stakeholder to deliver world class reporting and analytics solutions.
As a Reporting & Analytics Manager, you will help drive the overall strategy for Student Success reporting & analytics. You will assist Higher Ed institutions of all sizes and types with measuring results related to the services Student Success provides. You will have a direct, personal responsibility formanaging an agile reporting team, and delivering on commitments.
Specific responsibilities will include:
- Interacting with senior management in designing and deploying reporting and analytics strategy
- Communicating reporting and analytics strategy and report progress to the business customers
- Leading the process of evaluating, prioritizing, and completing requests for new reports or improvements to existing reports with business owners
- Establishing internal controls and data validation procedures
- Coaching and developing eachteam members’ abilities
- Allocating resources to assignments by the ability to add the most business value
- Managing rollout of new reporting technology capabilities into business departments
- Managing a team of reporting and data analysts
The Candidate:
Required skills/qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree and 4 years of prior relevant experience, or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background
- Advanced knowledge of report-building techniques usingMicrosoft’s Power BI,Power BI Service,SQL, and MySQL databases
- Ability to lead others to solve complex problems using technical knowledge and skills related to education industry
- Strong analytical capabilities and problem-solving skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
Preferred skills/qualifications:
- Experience with Azure Data Factory
- Experience in preparing executive communication to include written and oral presentations
- Experience with agile methodologies
