Requirements
  • A formal M.D., M.D./Ph.D., or D.O. degree is required.
  • Board certification or eligibility in Anatomic/Clinical Pathology is required.
  • Eligibility for unrestricted licensure to practice medicine in Kansas is required.
Responsibilities
  • Participate in diagnostic sign-out of one or two subspecialty areas.
  • Contribute to medical student, resident, and fellow training.
  • Provide specialized clinical, educational, and/or research services within the area of expertise using current, evidence-based practices and techniques.
  • Develop research projects reflective of personal interests.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary clinical teams, research groups, academic programs, and institutional partners to support patient care, program development, innovation, and scholarly activity.
Desired Qualifications
  • Fellowship training in Hematopathology is preferred.
  • Additional training or experience in Molecular Pathology is preferred.
