Requirements
- Submit an updated resume.
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Have a high school diploma or General Educational Development equivalent.
- Have access to reliable transportation.
- Provide documentation of updated vaccinations, including TB, MMR, Varicella, Hepatitis B or declination, Tdap, seasonal influenza, and COVID-19 vaccinations, as applicable to location, regulations, and business policies.
- Successfully complete a drug test and background check and security screen.
- Sign a commitment to confidentiality, adherence to ethics, and Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act compliance.
Responsibilities
- Provide accurate, in-person consecutive interpretation in medical environments.
- Follow Kreato Global policies and procedures related to information confidentiality and interpreter ethics.
- Maintain strict patient confidentiality in accordance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act, Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act, Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act, and applicable regulatory requirements, policies, and standards.
- Establish and maintain quality service and positive interactions with patients, customers, visitors, healthcare providers, and clinical employees.
- Continuously improve vocabulary and specialized subject-matter knowledge.
Desired Qualifications
- At least 1 year of interpreting experience.
- Knowledge of Kreato Global’s evaluation process conforming to interpreting standards defined by the National Council on Interpreting in Health Care, International Medical Interpreters Association, and California Healthcare Interpreters Association.
