Requirements
  • Conceptualize, design and execute an ambitious data science roadmap for our member experience team in partnership with product, engineering and care team leads
  • You will lead, mentor and manage a team of data scientists in building out product analytics across our member experience team, helping shape goals, metrics, experimentation and dashboards
  • Coach and mentor data scientists on the team to ensure their continued growth
  • Define the key success metrics that provide insight into the complete member journey and experience and uncover opportunities to improve these metrics
  • Lead the team in designing A/B tests and defining product telemetry to inform development and prioritization of new product feature releases
  • Perform analytical deep-dives to proactively identify opportunities to accelerate member growth and engagement and inform experimentations and product roadmaps
  • Partner with cross functional leads in the development of data-centric product features like search and personalized recommendations
  • You will lead the team in building out the analytical infrastructure and insightful, automated dashboards necessary to track member and engagement metrics and KPIs
  • You are passionate about changing the face of mental health care and Spring Health's mission to remove all barriers to mental health resonates with you
  • 7+ years of professional experience in a data science role, and at least 3+ years in a leadership or management capacity
  • Proven track record of success in product analytics (acquisition, activation, engagement, and retention)
  • You have experience working with product development/design process in the context of a software product
  • Proficiency with SQL, and tools like MixPanel/Amplitude and Looker
  • Familiarity with a statistical analysis language (Python or R)
  • Strong presentation and stakeholder management skills - fluently tell a compelling clinical or business story with data
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment
  • Passion for successfully navigating ambiguous problem areas and learning new approaches
  • General willingness to occasionally travel (at least 1x/year) to NYC for collaborative sessions/offsites with the team

Desired Qualifications
  • Experience in defining product logging/telemetry and collaborating with engineering team on refining requirements and QA
  • Some level of comfort with data modeling and pipelining via dbt or similar tools
  • Experience collaborating with user research teams
  • Previous experience working in a fast-paced environment
