About the position
Upfield is on an exciting growth trajectory, and we’re seeking a Commercial Finance Analyst for the Northern Europe region. This role, reporting to the CFO, is central to our next steps as a strategic growth engine of Upfield. You’ll be the internal link between leading our financial planning cycles and weekly sales forecast. In addition, you will analyse market trends at category, brand and customer level influencing our short, mid, and long-term plans to achieve mission targets and strategic objectives. This role will also partner with our marketing department ensuring accuracy of P2P process and a strategic gatekeeper for NPD.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the financial planning and forecasting process for the Northern Europe region.
- Lead the weekly sales forecast, partnering with the LT and markets to drive performance.
- Gatekeeper for New Product Development (NPD) business cases working with commercial finance, sales and marketing.
- Look at macro trends, category and brand lenses in relation to our long-range plan.
- Strategic sparring partner for the commercial finance managers of UKI & Nordics
So what does it take to be successful in this role?
- Strong experience in a finance role, either CIMA qualified or part qualified, with 3 years plus experience.
- Experience working within financial planning and analysis.
- Experience business partnering marketing and Sales.
- A growth-oriented, collaborative mindset with digital savvy and project management skills.
- Excellent communication and influencing abilities.
