  • Experience with React, Tailwind, Stimulus, Turbo, or Hotwire.
  • Experience with AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or Copilot.

Superconductor is a cloud platform that lets software teams run multiple AI coding agents in parallel on the same project, compare their results side by side, and ship the best implementation. Each agent runs in an isolated cloud workspace; it supports providers like Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, and Google Gemini and provides live previews for testing. Users review agent changes with a built-in diff viewer, iterate with chat, and can generate a GitHub pull request or trigger work from Slack and PR comments. The goal is to speed up coding decisions by exploring several AI-generated solutions in parallel while staying secure and integrated with existing development workflows.

Simplify's Take

What believers are saying

  • Superconductor updated web, iOS, and privacy pages in 2026, signaling active shipping.
  • The company lists Claude Code, Codex, Amp, Grok Build, OpenCode, Pi, and Cursor.
  • Volition says it is well-funded and growing, and is hiring across roles.

What critics are saying

  • Superconductor depends on third-party compute from Modal and Morph Cloud, increasing outage risk.
  • Competitors like AQ now ship shared terminals and self-hosted infrastructure, eroding differentiation.
  • A safety failure in customer code handling would damage trust and stall enterprise adoption.

What makes Superconductor unique

  • Parallel AI agents run in isolated cloud sandboxes with side-by-side comparison.
  • Native mobile apps let teams launch agents and review previews from iOS.
  • Founder team built Gradescope, then repeated the playbook inside Superconductor.
