Requirements
  • 3-5+ years of indirect procurement experience in a multi-concept environment, including planning, organizing, and managing global strategic sourcing of indirect goods and services.
  • At least 3 years of procurement experience managing information technology service vendors and contracts.
  • At least 5 years of supplier relationship management experience in indirect and/or direct procurement.
  • Knowledge and capability in delivering sourcing strategies, with demonstrated ability to develop and grow supplier relationships.
  • Experience with high-value, high-volume purchasing and contract negotiation across a range of services or commodities.
  • Experience initiating and delivering successful cost-saving initiatives.
  • Business and financial acumen.

Responsibilities
  • Establish a global, high-performance sourcing capability, including ownership of category sourcing strategies for key information technology vendors.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders through category forums to align with the category strategic roadmap and key initiatives.
  • Develop and leverage supplier relationships, identifying vendors that meet business needs while minimizing costs and maximizing value.
  • Leverage changing industry delivery models.
  • Create value through best-in-class sourcing practices.
  • Develop and implement category sourcing strategies supporting the business roadmap.
  • Provide strategic direction, insight, and approaches for managing supplier contracts and relationships to procure goods and services that meet business goals.
  • Develop strategic sourcing capabilities and scalable solutions that enable significant change and maximize business value.
  • Provide external perspectives on technology, industry, sourcing best practices, peer groups, and macroeconomic and socioeconomic factors relevant to business needs.
  • Provide internal perspectives on business goals and legal and regulatory considerations in operations and business strategies.
  • Develop and drive effective execution of appropriate sourcing and service delivery standards.
  • Develop negotiation strategies and lead negotiations for key information technology-related contracts.
  • Partner with business leaders to identify optional solutions for price, delivery, and service.
  • Partner with stakeholders and leaders to manage the entire lifecycle of information technology-related contracts, including the contract lifecycle management pipeline, requests for proposals, commercial terms of master service agreements, and statements of work.
  • Partner with legal stakeholders to negotiate and resolve contract disputes.
  • Manage and direct sourcing activities consistent with near-term financial and non-financial performance requirements, regulatory compliance, and long-term strategic requirements.
  • Use a scalable delivery model and standardized approach to sourcing.
  • Support clear organizational expectations related to company values, business and legal ethics, and financial controls.
  • Balance aggressive negotiation for sourcing value with developing supplier relationships and delivering a portfolio aligned with business needs.
  • Keep current with developments in sourcing and the technology industry.
  • Ensure appropriate audit trails are embedded in processes for internal audit and performance controls.
  • Lead and manage the performance of all direct reports, remaining accountable for their organizational capability, skills and knowledge growth, and long-term development.
  • Drive analysis of data, including financial and performance metrics, to support decisions.
  • Create teamwork across functions and business groups to maximize the development of teams and individuals.
  • Develop and deliver presentations to executives and others on strategies and programs as required.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with a highly entrepreneurial and autonomous operating company culture is highly preferred.
  • Previous enterprise resource planning and procurement system experience with Oracle, SAP, DocuSign, or Coupa is preferred.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Business, legal, Master of Business Administration, or an advanced degree is preferred.
