Hospitality Assistant Trainer - Food Services
About the job
- A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
- A minimum of two years of food-service experience is required, with health-care experience preferred.
- One year of experience as a Hospitality Assistant is preferred.
- Excellent communication and customer-service skills are required.
- Must be knowledgeable about and able to follow federal, state, regulatory-agency, and Joint Commission standards for sanitation, food preparation, and food handling.
- Must be able to properly identify patients and maintain confidentiality.
- Train each newly assigned Hospitality Assistant.
- Deliver and retrieve patient meal trays.
- Speak the menu using the BME.
- Replenish nutrition rooms.
- Deliver snacks.
- Provide individualized assistance to each patient.
