Duetto debuts integration with Triptease.

Duetto debuts integration with Triptease. June 22, 2026 SAN FRANCISCO, California - Duetto announced a new integration with Triptease. The new tool, Auto Date Boost, automatically adjusts paid marketing spend when occupancy forecasts change, eliminating manual coordination between revenue and marketing teams. Revenue forecasts and marketing budgets have historically been disconnected. While tools like Duetto's Revenue & Profit Operating System can predict occupancy with precision, marketing strategy and spend often get implemented in a vacuum. The result is wasted marketing budget, last-minute discounting, and revenue left on the table. Auto Date Boost solves this problem using the Duetto Rate Engine (DRE), Duetto's API. DRE offers real-time insights, including total guest value, segment-specific pricing, occupancy, and more, to Duetto's customers and integration partners. Integration details. Triptease's Auto Date Boost leverages occupancy forecast data directly from DRE. When occupancy falls below a hotel's customized threshold, Triptease automatically increases ad spend in a key high-intent conversion channel: Google Hotel Ads. By boosting direct visibility when bookings are needed most, hoteliers can capture more revenue opportunities and optimize the overall performance of their hotel. "Revenue and marketing have rarely moved at the same speed, let alone synchronously and in real time," said James Osmond, chief executive officer of Triptease. "Auto Date Boost changes that, enabling hotels to turn commercial intelligence into direct business action. We're delighted to be partnering with Duetto on the introduction of this new integration." Hotels using Triptease Date Boost without automation have already seen the results of connecting marketing activity to demand signals: * 8 percent increase in overall visibility on boosted dates * 38 percent increase in top ad placements * 20 percent uplift in direct bookings "We're excited for marketing teams to benefit from DRE's occupancy intelligence and to partner with Triptease on our first joint integration," said John Lingos-Webb, vice president, global partnerships & alliances, Duetto. "This is a crucial step in aligning marketing and revenue teams toward the most profitable outcome, and engineering overall hotel performance through a data-driven integration."

Duetto appoints Michael Schäffner as Chief Sales Officer to scale global growth and redefine commercial performance.

Duetto appoints Michael Schäffner as Chief Sales Officer to scale global growth and redefine commercial performance. SAN FRANCISCO (May 6, 2026) - Duetto, a leading provider of revenue and profit software for the hospitality industry, today announced the appointment of Michael Schäffner as Chief Sales Officer (CSO). Previously Senior Vice President of Global Sales, Schäffner will now lead Duetto's global commercial organization as the company accelerates adoption of its Revenue & Profit Operating System (RP-OS) across leading hotel brands, groups, and casino resorts worldwide. In his new role, Schäffner will drive global go-to-market strategy, expand enterprise and brand relationships, and continue building a high-performance sales engine to support Duetto's category-defining RP-OS vision. "We're not just scaling a sales organization, we're building the commercial engine behind a new category," said Michael Schäffner, CSO of Duetto. "The industry has optimized for revenue for decades. The next chapter is about profit, and that requires a fundamentally different approach. Revenue without profit is only half the picture. The winners in the next decade will be the ones who connect every commercial decision directly to profit outcomes. That's exactly the shift we're driving with the RP-OS." "I've had the privilege to grow with Duetto through every phase, from startup to scale, through new ownership and the HotStats acquisition," Schäffner added. "Having grown up in this industry and worked across both hospitality and technology, I've seen firsthand where the gaps are. What excites me most now is the opportunity ahead, partnering with the world's leading brands to rethink how commercial performance is managed. We're just getting started." The right leader for the next stage of growth. Schäffner brings a unique blend of hospitality and technology experience, having worked across leading industry organizations including The Leading Hotels of the World, Relais & Châteaux, and Design Hotels, as well as high-growth technology companies such as Nor1. This combination of operational understanding and commercial leadership enables him to bridge strategy and execution across complex enterprise environments. His appointment comes as Duetto sharpens its focus on enterprise and brand partnerships, where long-term value creation, consistency, and trust are critical success factors. A pivotal moment for Duetto and the industry. The hospitality industry is entering a new phase of commercial complexity. Rising distribution costs, margin pressure, and increasing investor scrutiny are shifting the focus from revenue optimization to total profitability. Duetto's RP-OS is built for this shift, connecting revenue strategy with profit outcomes in a single platform and enabling operators to make faster, smarter, and more holistic commercial decisions. "Michael has been instrumental in building Duetto's commercial foundation and consistently delivering results at scale," said Alex Zoghlin, CEO of Duetto. "As we expand our global footprint and deepen our relationships with enterprise customers, his leadership will be critical in establishing Duetto as the performance platform the industry relies on." Schäffner's appointment marks another key step in Duetto's continued investment in leadership and growth as the company advances its RP-OS vision.

Previously serving as Senior Vice President of Global Marketing, Lynch's advancement to CMO signals a strategic shift as Duetto scales its global operations around its core ambition: leading the category with the industry's first Revenue & Profit Operating System (RP-OS). To facilitate this ambition, Lynch will bridge the gap between product innovation and market adoption, ensuring Duetto's unique capabilities are reflected across brand, product marketing, and go-to-market (GTM) strategies. "My mission is simple: to take Duetto from being the tool revenue teams love to the platform the hospitality industry relies on," said Olly Lynch, CMO of Duetto. "The future of hospitality performance goes beyond RevPAR. Duetto is uniquely positioned to help the industry adopt a more complete view of performance, one that incorporates revenue and profit - and gives hoteliers the systems they need to act on it." Additionally, Lynch led global digital strategies at marketing agencies for enterprise tech companies such as Fujitsu, Motorola, and Thomson Reuters. The announcement comes at a pivotal moment for Duetto and the industry Rising operational costs, volatile demand, and fragmented technology mean the role of revenue management has to evolve to incorporate a view of both revenue and profit. Lynch's appointment reinforces Duetto's intent to solve this challenge. "Olly's expertise will be crucial as we lead the next era of hospitality optimization," said Alex Zoghlin, CEO of Duetto. "His track record of building distinctive, credible global brands and driving frictionless product adoption is exactly what Duetto needs as we expand our footprint and help customers improve overall performance." Robert Matsuoka is Duetto's new chief technology officer

Robert Matsuoka is Duetto's new chief technology officer. Matsuoka joins Duetto to spearhead technology transformation across the company. Hospitality revenue and property management software provider Duetto announced the appointment of Robert Matsuoka as its new chief technology officer on Tuesday, 27th January. Matsuoka is a seminal AI thinker and technical leader with over 25 years' experience scaling systems and teams, and building travel tech. He joins Duetto to spearhead technology transformation across the company, from increasing delivery speeds for customers to managing the technical foundation for the Revenue & Profit Operating System (RP-OS). Duetto chief executive Alex Zoghlin said of Matsuoka: "Robert's expertise in AI has the potential to significantly improve the experience of our customers and push the industry forward as we build the first RP-OS. His hands-on technical expertise, combined with his experience managing massive, global-scale data at Tripadvisor, makes him a unique leader who can turn the advantages of AI into a practical reality for our customers." Building from the ground up. Matsuoka's journey is rooted in building technology from the ground up: as the co-founder and CTO of Citymaps, Matsuoka built geospatial systems processing billions of location elements, expertise that's directly applicable to hotel market intelligence and competitive set analysis powering Duetto's pricing recommendations. Following Citymaps' acquisition by Tripadvisor in 2016, Matsuoka spent eight years at the travel giant, ultimately serving as head of engineering and interim CTO. In these roles, he owned the technical strategy for the Hotel Business Unit (the company's primary revenue engine) and scaled global engineering teams. Post-Tripadvisor, Matsuoka held multiple fractional CTO roles and immersed himself in hands-on AI development. This involved pressure testing agentic AI applications to solve complex, high-scale enterprise challenges, and writing about his journey on HyperDev. Matsuoka sees the challenges hoteliers are facing in today's high-cost market as a prime opportunity for technological innovation. As he puts it: "The core commercial needs of hotels such as revenue optimization, demand forecasting, and yield management are all fundamentally algorithmic, so there's an enormous opportunity to enhance those systems through AI and machine learning. In this new role, I will focus on areas where AI can make a meaningful impact, including accelerating client onboarding velocity, expanding Duetto's integration ecosystem, and applying agentic AI techniques to developing next-generation pricing models."
