Requirements
  • At least 2 years of credit analysis and credit risk management experience.
  • A bachelor's or master's degree, preferably in business, finance, or accounting.
  • Good understanding of credit risk.
  • Proven analytical, research, and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to maintain focus and discipline under minimum supervision.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Familiarity with artificial intelligence tools and the ability to use them productively.
  • Strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work on time-sensitive tasks, coordinate with UK and overseas colleagues, plan effectively, react quickly and professionally to resolve issues, and manage multiple matters.
Responsibilities
  • Conduct onboarding and credit assessment of corporate customers and recommend credit limits for approval.
  • Assess life insurance policy products in line with the established assessment framework.
  • Act as the first line of defence in managing credit risk in the lending business.
  • Review, challenge, and recommend credit limit allocation requests for approval within the authority and scope of the Lending Division.
  • Work with Risk to support credit risk monitoring and reporting.
  • Monitor product and customer performance through existing reports and collaborate with bank and group stakeholders to manage risks.
  • Prepare new product introductions and conduct Consumer Duty and risk assessments.
  • Participate in relevant lending product project working groups.
  • Identify and formulate user requirements with the Division Head.
  • Liaise with the project manager and relevant departments to ensure timely progress on product development and implementation schedules.
  • Participate in user acceptance testing and follow up on remediation and enhancement actions.
  • Contribute to reporting enhancements and analytics development with internal and group information technology teams, including information technology project teams and the Power BI team.
  • Prepare inputs for executive committee packs.
  • Monitor product performance from a Consumer Duty perspective and provide updates for the Consumer Duty management pack.
  • Collate and analyse customer feedback from multiple channels, propose solutions and enhancements, and follow through to implementation.
  • Ensure product terms and conditions and key features documents are current and revised promptly for new product features.
  • Contribute to the Consumer Duty dashboard enhancement so relevant lending product and customer parameters are captured and acted upon.
  • Contribute to improving existing and creating new product methodologies, policies, and procedures.
  • Maintain the review schedule and ensure lending policies and procedures are up to date.
  • Maintain the inventory of lending policies and procedures and keep the lending section of the Master Key Policy Tracker current.
  • Perform other duties within Lending and risk management as required by the bank.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across departments and the wider iFAST Group, contribute to projects, and perform ad hoc assignments.
  • Adhere to conduct rules and the bank's policies and procedures.
  • Complete assigned training on time and apply a Consumer Duty lens to products and activities.
