About the job

Requirements
  • Experience as a Senior, Lead, or Principal Product Manager, ideally on a consumer product or a two-sided marketplace.
  • A track record of owning a product area end to end, from identifying and sizing a problem through shipping a solution and demonstrating its results.
  • Experience building and defending a prioritised roadmap with a stated impact model.
  • A track record of shipping with engineering teams, writing clear specifications, understanding technical constraints, and building effective working relationships with developers.
  • Direct experience talking to and testing with customers.
  • Ability to work alongside other product managers on a shared product without needing to own everything.
  • Confidence with SQL and a business intelligence tool, and the ability to build an estimate from first principles.
  • Comfort shipping AI features and using AI tools in work.
Responsibilities
  • Map the end-to-end journey of consumers facing legal needs and the lawyers serving them, identifying friction, gaps, and opportunities on both sides.
  • Find and size opportunities using data signals, customer conversations, or hypotheses; estimate their value, confidence, and the cost of learning more.
  • Shape the roadmap with a whole-marketplace view, working with other product managers and leadership to prioritize and justify rankings and reject ideas that do not merit prioritization.
  • Turn ambiguous product problems into clear problem statements, success measures, and specifications that design and engineering can execute.
  • Work with engineering and design to move work into the backlog, remove blockers, and deliver products that can be measured after launch.
  • Speak with consumers who have used the product and lawyers who claim work, observe sessions, and incorporate observed customer behavior into the roadmap.
  • Design experiments, evaluate results honestly including failures, and use findings to inform future prioritization.
  • Share knowledge about opportunity sizing, specifications, and experiments with other product managers, and learn from their knowledge of consumers and lawyers.
  • Work closely with product managers, engineering, design, legal and content, sales, and Growth, communicating progress, blockers, and next steps proactively.
Desired Qualifications
  • Two-sided marketplace experience, including supply constraints, liquidity, matching, and avoiding demand acquisition that cannot be serviced.
  • Pricing or monetisation experience, such as setting prices, designing a credit or subscription model, or owning how a product makes money.
  • Experience with consumer products involving high-consideration, emotionally loaded, infrequent decisions, such as legal, health, finance, or insurance.
  • Experience shipping products built on large language models.
  • Early-stage or scale-up experience and comfort working with imperfect data and unfinished infrastructure.
