About the job
- At least 3,900 hours of nursing experience, including experience in maternity, mental health, or acute care.
- Current full registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM) as an LPN, RN, or RDPN.
- Ability to travel to local sites within the region.
- Deliver instruction in lab and clinical settings.
- Execute lesson plans using the preset curriculum, following PTIRU compliance requirements.
- Provide hands-on training and supervision in clinical environments.
- Assess student performance and provide feedback.
- Maintain a collaborative and supportive learning environment.
- Stay current with best practices and developments in nursing education.
- Previous instructor experience.
- Experience with Office 365 and Student Information Systems (SIS).
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to diverse learning styles.
- Commitment to fostering a positive educational experience.
