  • Extensive experience in both external and internal communications, with a strong emphasis on public relations.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and Lead Communication Strategy: Create and implement the company’s overall communications strategy, ensuring alignment with leadership, brand mission, and business objectives.
  • Oversee Internal Communications: Drive employee engagement, retention, and advocacy through a strategic internal communications function.
  • Partner with Senior Leadership: Collaborate with senior team members to craft compelling narratives about Skillz and its products, emphasizing what makes it a top workplace.
  • Manage PR Agency: Lead and manage PR agency efforts to position Skillz as an industry leader effectively.
  • Leverage Communication Channels: Utilize both earned and owned channels to enhance Skillz’s reputation among customers, partners, employees, investors, media, and influencers.
  • Optimize Executive Communications: Refine and advance the strategy and voice for executives, including speaking engagements, media interviews, and internal communications.
