Requirements
  • Consecutive employment in a position with comparable responsibilities within the past five years
  • Must be able to use a computer to communicate via email; proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and related tools and technology required for the position
  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience
  • Bachelor's degree (Business Systems Specialist II holds a bachelor’s degree)
  • U.S. Citizenship Required
  • All staff must be determined eligible for a Facility Access Authorization by the U.S. Government’s designated Security Office
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Products (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, & Adobe)
  • Travel as coordinated with the technical point of contact and approved in writing by the Contracting Officer in advance, in accordance with Federal Travel Regulations
  • Location: CONUS - Silver Spring, MD (Plus Work Remotely)
Responsibilities
  • Maintain a working knowledge of performance management, as well as the application, development, and implementation of performance management frameworks
  • Evaluate business processes and operations to assess performance indicators
  • Develop performance measures for new projects and initiatives
  • Develop standard operating procedures to determine how and the frequency current performance measures will be reassessed
  • Develop and/or coordinate the use of business intelligence tools for the tracking and reporting of performance management data
  • Create employee performance measures and update position descriptions to reflect new staff (through organizational integration or hiring), new staff responsibilities and/or leadership expectations
  • Ensure performance measures are feasible, measurable within the Federal Government Agency's current structure
  • Provide a performance measurement plan that identifies and reflects an ongoing goal of increased, relevant performance measures for effective decision making
  • Assist in development, implementation, maintenance and monitoring of a performance management program
  • Support requirements for Program Support and Performance Management Initiatives
