Requirements
  • Experience supporting power generation maintenance projects.
  • A strong background in estimating, project execution, and customer relationship management.
  • Demonstrated understanding of project controls and project risk management practices.
  • Technical knowledge of power plant systems and major power generation equipment.
  • Proven ability to lead multiple projects and teams across a region.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced project environment.
  • Willingness and ability to travel to project sites as required.
  • A bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • At least 5 years of experience in field engineering, project management, or related roles supporting industrial or power generation projects.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain relationships with utilities, plant operators, and industrial power generation customers within the assigned area.
  • Identify upcoming maintenance opportunities and support the regional growth strategy.
  • Participate in request for quotation evaluations and recommend bid or no-bid decisions.
  • Prepare project estimates using company estimating tools and templates.
  • Review and approve estimates for projects within the area.
  • Lead the transition from estimates to formal proposals through commercial processes.
  • Provide oversight of maintenance projects within the assigned region.
  • Monitor project performance related to safety, schedule, cost, and quality.
  • Identify project risks and implement corrective actions when needed.
  • Provide project status updates and operational insights to senior leadership.
  • Mentor and support project leadership teams, including Project Managers, Superintendents, and Field Engineers.
  • Evaluate project leadership effectiveness and support continuous improvement across the area.
  • Participate in staffing and leadership development decisions.
  • Ensure all operational, financial, and commercial reporting requirements are completed accurately and on schedule.
