Requirements
  • Recent graduate with a Bachelor's degree or diploma in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Programming specialization, Information Technology specialization, Systems Administration, or a relevant field.
  • Experience with C# and Windows Presentation Foundation using Visual Studio through academic, internship, or professional work.
  • Understanding of object-oriented programming and development protocols.
  • Solid understanding of Structured Query Language, preferably Microsoft SQL Server, including basic queries, joins, and simple stored procedures.
  • Experience with Microsoft Access for database queries, table design, and relationships.
  • Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for basic web pages and user interfaces.
  • Strong Excel skills, including formulas, functions, and sorting/filtering.
  • Basic understanding of SharePoint.
  • French and English bilingualism is required because of frequent interactions with clients, colleagues, or partners based in Quebec, other Canadian provinces, and internationally.
Responsibilities
  • Maintain and enhance in-house applications built with C#, .NET, and SQL Server by adding features, improving usability, and resolving user-reported bugs.
  • Fulfill ad hoc data requests by extracting, validating, and formatting information from company systems for business, operational, and reporting needs.
  • Build and support automation solutions using mail merge, Excel macros, C# utilities, Access queries, and SQL scripts.
  • Act as a liaison between business users and Aon IT by translating user requirements into technical requests.
  • Partner with Aon IT teams to coordinate and test system upgrades, patches, and infrastructure changes while maintaining application stability and availability.
  • Develop and maintain business reports using Crystal Reports, Excel, and SQL.
  • Document changes, processes, and user guides to support knowledge transfer for technical and non-technical users.
  • Participate in team meetings to discuss priorities, review upcoming work, and contribute ideas for improving systems and processes.

  • Experience integrating with Microsoft Office applications programmatically.
  • Experience with Kentico or Sitecore.
  • High discernment and professional presentation skills.

Published in: News A series of senior appointments across the insurance market has strengthened leadership teams spanning MGA operations, specialist underwriting, consultancy, marine broking and global insurance standards. Acies MGU appoints David Eynon to lead Subscribe. Acies MGU has appointed David Eynon as managing director of Subscribe, its financial lines MGA, as the business enters its next phase of growth with backing from Lloyd's and A-rated capacity. Eynon brings more than 30 years of experience across underwriting, distribution and MGA management. His previous senior London Market positions include leading the London Market underwriting operation at Manchester Underwriting Management and heading the special lines division at Sagicor Syndicate 1206. Subscribe launched in late 2025 as a Lloyd's-backed MGA providing professional indemnity, directors' and officers', and management liability insurance to UK and international brokers. The business has since been developing additional specialist facilities under its new leadership. Fiducia promotes Emma Harvey to Combined Liabilities underwriter. Leeds-based MGA Fiducia has promoted Emma Harvey to underwriter within its Combined Liabilities team. Harvey joined Fiducia as an assistant underwriter following previous commercial broking roles at Aon and Gauntlet Group. Global insurance standards organisation ACORD has appointed John Kellington as chief executive, returning him to an organisation where he previously held a senior standards role. Kellington served as ACORD's senior vice president of standards development from 2007 to 2010. He subsequently spent 16 years as chief information officer at Cincinnati Insurance, where he led an architecture-focused IT transformation based on ACORD standards. He also previously served on ACORD's board of directors. Kellington succeeds Bill Pieroni, who left ACORD in April 2025. Chief operating officer Tanya Krochta served as acting chief executive during the interim period. His previous experience on both sides of the standards process gives him direct experience of implementing ACORD standards within an insurance organisation. Insurance consultancy Angelica Solutions has expanded its network of senior specialists with the addition of Amy Illingworth. Illingworth is a qualified actuary with more than 15 years of experience covering pricing, product development and commercial strategy. Her first assignment through Angelica Solutions is an interim head of pricing position with an MGA client. The consultancy operates through a flexible network model, connecting insurance specialists with clients for interim and specialist assignments. ATL appoints Sean Woollerson to marine division. Independent Lloyd's broker ATL has appointed Sean Woollerson as director of its marine division. Woollerson brings more than 35 years of international marine insurance experience across hull, war risks and loss of hire coverage. He joins ATL from Price Forbes, where he served as deputy chief executive of the marine division. His previous experience also includes senior marine positions at Besso and almost three decades at JLT. The appointment forms part of ATL's broader strategy to diversify its business beyond its traditional energy and marine focus. The broker also appointed a director late last year to lead its expansion into M&A, tax and capital risks. Woollerson's appointment adds further senior marine expertise to ATL across several specialist lines, including hull, war risks and loss of hire.

Ms Murray has been appointed global chief commercial officer for Aon Captive & Insurance Managers, overseeing growth across the firm's captives, White Rock, commercial and insurance-linked securities operations. Ms Murray has risen through a series of senior positions during a lengthy career with Aon in Bermuda. Before the promotion, she had served as deputy managing director since 2023. She previously spent more than two years as senior vice-president and head of client origination, after earlier roles as vice-president and assistant vice-president, according to her LinkedIn profile. She wrote on LinkedIn that she was "honoured" to step into the role and was grateful for the opportunity to partner even more closely with Aon's global teams to drive growth across divisions. "The strength of our business comes from the collective expertise and dedication of colleagues across regions, hubs and domiciles," she wrote. "I'm excited for what we'll continue to build together and even more energised by the shared momentum and possibilities ahead." An accountant certified by the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, Ms Murray has represented Aon to promote Bermuda's captive insurance sector internationally. A Bermuda Monetary Authority filing previously identified her as a principal representative for Aon Insurance Managers (Bermuda) Ltd.
