Requirements
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or technical-related education.
- At least 5 years of development experience with mission-critical systems, including server-side development.
- Expert knowledge and experience in Java.
- Expert-level knowledge of J2EE and at least one framework such as Spring or Struts, as well as Hibernate or JPA.
- Expert-level understanding of web Model-View-Controller architectures.
- Experience exposing functionality through Representational State Transfer interfaces.
- Expertise in designing and implementing for availability, scalability, reliability, and performance.
- Expertise in modern database and storage technologies, including relational databases such as MySQL and NoSQL databases such as Cassandra and MongoDB.
- Expertise in designing and building web applications or web services in a distributed environment.
- Experience working in cross-functional teams.
- Strong written and oral communication skills, ability to multitask, establish priorities, and meet tight deadlines.
- The candidate must be a United States Green Card holder or United States citizen.
Desired Qualifications
- Front-end web application development using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and JavaScript Model-View-Controller frameworks.
- Experience with modern web application frameworks such as Ruby on Rails or Django.
