Requirements
  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Customer service experience.
  • Must have an unrestricted and valid driver's license, active car insurance, and willingness to use a personal vehicle in the course of work.
  • Must possess excellent communication skills, including the ability to send and receive oral and written messages in a clear, positive, prompt, and appropriate manner while maintaining customer confidentiality.
  • Must be able to apply active listening techniques conveying respect, professionalism, engagement skills, a positive attitude, and empathy.
  • Must be flexible in learning multiple operating systems and processes used by various organizations and demonstrate the ability to work in an electronic medical record, including the dependence on, translation of, and utilization of electronic reports.
  • Must demonstrate promptness and reliability in attendance, meeting work deadlines, and performing tasks, and complete assignments without prompting.
Responsibilities
  • Engage individuals enrolled in services at Frontier Behavioral Health and provide referrals to primary health care, dental care, or other services offered through Frontier Behavioral Health partnerships and contracts.
  • Access and utilize various electronic medical records, scheduling platforms, and systems to coordinate and schedule appointments for individuals.
  • Effectively utilize customer service and motivational interviewing skills to promote appropriate client-centered care.
  • Promote the reduction of barriers to services by coordinating and arranging appointments; meet individuals at appointments as necessary to engage them in the program.
  • Requires travel to see clients in the community and travel between work sites.
  • Support and encourage a harmonious working relationship within and between departments.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Frontier Behavioral Health provides a full spectrum of behavioral health care in Spokane County. It runs 24/7 crisis intervention and Crisis Response Services, including Involuntary Treatment Act evaluations, and operates 48 inpatient beds for Evaluation & Treatment and Stabilization. Most services are outpatient, and FBH serves Children and Youth, Adults, and Elders, with programs such as Peer Support, nursing home and school-based services, care for the homeless, a Clubhouse, and Vocational Rehabilitation/Employment services. With a staff of 700+ and more than 16,000 clients served each year, the goal is to deliver accessible, coordinated care across ages and life situations in the community.
