  • At least two years of experience in an emergency department or critical care is required.
  • The candidate must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • The candidate must hold a Registered Nurse license in good standing without limitations in the State of Georgia.
  • The candidate must hold American Heart Association Basic Cardiac Life Support certification.
Responsibilities
  • Independently plan and provide professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines.
  • Provide care in accordance with the scope of practice defined by the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.
  • Support patients with complex and high-acuity needs across the hospital's Emergency Department, Intensive Care Units, and Intermediate Care Units.
Desired Qualifications
  • A Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree is preferred.
  • Two years of experience as a Registered Professional Nurse is preferred.
  • An additional life-support credential such as Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, or Neonatal Resuscitation Program, or another clinical specialty certification, is preferred.
  • Visual color acuity may be required depending on the role in specific units.
