- A high school diploma or equivalent education, a General Educational Development certificate, post-secondary education, or one year of work experience.
- One year of experience with linen or inventory.
- Deliver clean linen carts to the floor.
- Pick up dirty linen.
- Ensure that inventory levels are sufficient.
- Maintain all linen records for reporting and accountability.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of all processes on all shifts.
- Basic knowledge of computer use and the ability to learn appropriate software applications.
- Ability to read, write, and follow written and oral instructions.
- Ability to demonstrate customer service skills.
- Ability to operate a computerized inventory system.
- Ability to use a handheld scanner to issue and track inventory.
- Ability to react calmly under stressful conditions.
- Ability to relate cooperatively and constructively with clients and coworkers to solve complex problems.
- Ability to work independently using judgment and problem-solving skills to resolve customer service issues and order discrepancies.
