What believers are saying

  • NRCan lists Ecosystem as Tier 1 with $150 million contract capability on February 18, 2026.
  • 2025 brought three Regional ASHRAE awards, plus Georgetown's 2025 AEE Project award.
  • Open New York hiring in 2025 signals active demand for decarbonization engineers and business development.

What critics are saying

  • Federal NRCan qualification expires February 18, 2029; losing it would constrain Canadian contract access.
  • Ecosystem's model depends on client budgets, and delayed public capital projects can freeze pipeline starts.
  • If major retrofit guarantees miss savings, hospital and university buyers will shift to larger competitors.

What makes Ecosystem unique

  • Ecosystem contracts outcome guarantees, bundling design, construction, and commissioning under one accountable team.
  • Its hospital and campus retrofits monetize measured savings, not generic sustainability consulting.
  • Canada-U.S. offices in Quebec, Toronto, New York, Boston, Los Angeles, and Columbus widen execution reach.
