Attensi ships RealTalk 3.0, introduces RealTalk Moments, RealTalk creator, and RealTalk Insights. October 23, 2026 09:44 ET | Source: Attensi BOSTON and OSLO, Oct. 23, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) - Attensi, the global leader in game-based simulation training, today announced RealTalk 3.0, a significant overhaul to its AI-powered conversation training solution line. The release introduces three new capabilities: RealTalk Moments, RealTalk Maker, and RealTalk Insights. Together, the new suite allows organizations to build, launch, and measure realistic AI-powered practice scenarios in minutes, at enterprise scale. With RealTalk 3.0, teams can create fully custom role-play scenarios tailored to their specific training needs, giving employees realistic practice opportunities to build work-ready communication skills and receive more valuable and actionable feedback than ever before, instantly, on their performance before carrying those lessons into real customer and colleague interactions. And this training can be practiced on any device. New features include: * RealTalk Moments Ideal for frontline workforces in sectors such as retail and hospitality, where customer interactions are routine in volume but variable in nature and require a wide range of skillsets that can be applied to live situations in the workplace. * RealTalk Maker lets L&D professionals, managers, and frontline staff design their own AI-powered role-play scenarios without an instructional design background. Simply by describing what they want to practice in a chat window, the AI agents get to work for the creator. Users can tell RealTalk Maker AI assistants the situation, the skill they want to build, and who the learner will be talking to, and it builds a working scenario around that conversation in under 10 minutes, with tone, difficulty, and coaching feedback tuned to match organizational standards. Teams can deploy instantly across devices, across regions and in different languages. Backed by Attensi University, super users can become global training content creators. * RealTalk Insights gives teams a live analytics layer to deliver instant feedback. It lets you watch specific behaviors take hold across a whole cohort, attempt by attempt, and see exactly where to focus next. Not just scores and completion: the tangible behaviors that close the deal, land the message, or stop the job before someone gets hurt. Every practice conversation is assessed by clusters of tailored evaluators, configured around the behaviors and outcomes that make a difference to your business. What you see is what people actually do under pressure, reliable across thousands of conversations and as granular as a team wants to go. Practical impact, legible at scale. It replaces "did they pass?" with "what's happening, and what do we do about it?" Together, the updates make RealTalk the most flexible, customizable, and sophisticated platform on the market for immersive training programs designed to boost team readiness in virtually any industry or workplace environment. "With RealTalk 3.0, we're putting the full loop of practice, feedback, and measurement directly into the hands of the people who know their jobs best. Scenario creation used to be a bottleneck, but now any team can build context-rich, realistic practice environments in minutes and see exactly where they need to improve," said Trond Aas, CEO of Attensi. Large employers are already putting RealTalk to work at scale. Det Norske Veritas, DNV, a global assurance and risk management company with 15,000 employees worldwide, deployed RealTalk to help its ship surveyors sharpen their technical expertise that customers rely on to work safer and more efficiently, by practicing high-stakes conversations before stepping on board customer vessels. The RealTalk simulation was designed to test surveyors' ability to demonstrate professional credibility, clear and structured communication, empathy under pressure, and strong closure. DNV surveyors improved their average training score from 66% on a first attempt to 80% on their best attempt, and 92% of those who repeated the training showed measurable improvement, reaching high competence in under 40 minutes. Solving Workplace Challenges RealTalk 3.0 highlights Attensi's ambition to build training solutions that address the most pressing challenges in the workplace today. In its Motivation and Skill Mastery in the Workplace 2026 study of 505 U.S. workers, Attensi found that 86% of employees say they're already motivated in their current role, and 95% agree that getting better at something is motivating in itself - but that motivation relies on opportunities for real practice, not just faster access to information: 65% say most workplace training focuses on delivering information rather than enabling hands-on practice, and 71% say they improve their skills primarily to feel more confident and capable, not for pay or promotion. That desire is strongest among younger workers specifically, with 54% of workers aged 25-34 saying they'd choose better training over a 5% pay raise. About Attensi Since 2012, Attensi game-based simulations and training solutions have empowered organizations around the world to develop their workforce through engaging, interactive training experiences that have real impact. With a focus on innovation and cutting-edge AI technology, Attensi is shaping the future of learning and development, helping people and organizations grow to become exceptional. Attensi has been recognized by Fast Company's World's Most Innovative Companies and TIME Magazine's World's Top EdTech Companies, as well as being named a Strategic Challenger in the Fosway 9-Grid(TM) for Digital Learning and being one of ten winners of Newsweek's AI Impact Health Awards 2026. Bengal: Four ports identified for bunkering alternative fuel for Green Maritime ops. By IANS Source: IANS - National 21 October 2026 Kolkata, Oct 21 - The Directorate General of Maritime Administration (DGMA) released a document titled "Study on Potential Demand and Pricing of Alternative Marine Fuels in India" during the workshop titled "Safety First at Sea: Enhancing Safety & Compliance Standards across Indian Shipping" held recently in Mumbai. The study, undertaken by DNV under the International Maritime Organization's (IMO) GreenVoyage2050 Programme, in partnership with DGMA and the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways (MoPSW), examines India's potential to emerge as a regional bunkering hub for low- and zero-carbon marine fuels. It provides an assessment of vessel traffic patterns, existing and projected marine fuel demand, alternative fuel pricing, cost competitiveness and bunkering infrastructure and operational considerations. "The report identifies Mundra, JNPT, Chennai and Tuticorin as key locations for potential alternative fuel bunkering development, with projected demand reaching 42-65 petajoules (PJ) by 2035 and 113-293 PJ by 2047, under different scenarios," the DGMA has said in a statement. The study also outlines a phased roadmap for 2026-2047, focusing on the establishment of initial bunkering operations, expansion of infrastructure and services, development of safety and regulatory frameworks and India's long-term positioning within regional and global green shipping networks. It provides valuable insights for advancing alternative marine fuel adoption, strengthening bunkering infrastructure and supporting maritime decarbonisation, contributing towards India's transition to cleaner and more sustainable shipping. The DGMA has already set a deadline for the use of ethanol-blended fuel by commercial vessels when they enter Indian coastal waters. Ship owners and managers have been given time to make necessary changes in equipment and build tanks on ships to store ethanol to be blended with marine diesel. The directorate also released the "Marine Environmental Management Report 2026" during the workshop that was jointly organised in association with the Indian Register of Shipping (IRS). It provides an overview and analysis of India's maritime environmental performance, covering carbon emissions from Indian shipping, fuel consumption trends, green shipping initiatives, single-use plastic prohibition, port reception facilities and ballast water management. "Drawing upon environmental data for 2025, the report highlights key findings on carbon emissions, fuel consumption and marine pollution prevention, while identifying areas requiring further attention to strengthen environmental performance and regulatory compliance across the maritime sector," the DGMA has said. The publication reflects the directorate's continued commitment to data-driven environmental governance, marine environmental protection and sustainable shipping practices, contributing towards a cleaner and more sustainable maritime future, it has been claimed.
DNV enters strategic partnership with SSE on digital resilience and cybersecurity. How can organizations make sound decisions when cyber threats, geopolitical uncertainty, and technological change make the environment increasingly unpredictable? The Stockholm School of Economics (SSE) and DNV will explore this question through a new five-year partnership. A global thought leader on assurance and risk management, the Norwegian company DNV will become a long-term partner of the Center for Security and Resilience at SSE under a five-year partnership agreement. This initiative comes as a response to an increasingly complex risk environment. Digitalization and emerging technologies create new opportunities, but also new vulnerabilities. At the same time, organizations face cyber threats, geopolitical tensions, and growing interdependencies between critical systems. As a result, digital resilience, the ability to withstand and recover quickly from cyber incidents, outages and technology failures, has become a strategic priority for organizations worldwide. "The Stockholm School of Economics has been an early mover in developing research and academic programs in digital resilience and cybersecurity. What makes SSE particularly interesting to us is how it connects these fields with governance and decision-making," says Klas Bendrik, Chief Digital and Development Officer at DNV. "This intersection is where many of the most important challenges facing organizations today can be found." When security becomes a leadership responsibility. The partnership will connect academic research with experience from the business community. DNV will contribute insights from its work in technology, security, risk management, and trust across industries and markets. "In a rapidly changing world, companies need to remain resilient even when conditions shift quickly. This partnership will allow us to deepen our understanding of what makes organizations resilient and how leaders and boards can put that knowledge into practice," says Lars Strannegård, President of the Stockholm School of Economics. For DNV, the partnership also marks a further development of the company's research collaborations. DNV has a long history of working with universities. DNV makes resilience a key component of its approach to risk management, focusing on it as a necessity when facing new digital threats. No organization can expect to defend against every cyber-attack, committing to resilience planning is key. "Technology alone cannot make an organization resilient," Klas Bendrik says. "How organizations are governed, how leaders set priorities, and how decisions are made under uncertainty are becoming increasingly important. We want to contribute to research that can give organizations a stronger foundation for navigating this reality." Executing on Nordic collaboration. The partnership will also strengthen interaction between academia, business, and society across the Nordic region. This is particularly relevant at a time when cybersecurity, preparedness, and societal resilience are becoming increasingly important. In addition to joint research projects, the partnership will also strengthen several other initiatives within the Stockholm School of Economics and the Center for Security and Resilience. Among other things, it will contribute to the newly created Nordic Defense MBA program and the Nordic Security and Competitiveness Day hosted every year in November at SSE. "Both DNV and SSE are Nordic leaders within their respective fields. Through this partnership, we want to accelerate Nordic collaboration," says Lars Strannegård. "A scientific approach is the base for awareness and action within the important fields of digital resilience and cybersecurity." DNV expands aquaculture inspection and certification services in Chile. Published: October 18, 2026 Reading time: 2 min. DNV has signed an agreement to acquire a majority stake in Aqualis, a Chilean provider of aquaculture infrastructure inspection and certification services. The acquisition will expand DNV's assurance capabilities in Chile, one of the world's leading aquaculture-producing countries, and strengthen its ability to help producers meet changing regulatory requirements through inspection and certification of critical infrastructure. Aqualis is authorized by Chile's National Fisheries and Aquaculture Service (Sernapesca) to provide certification under Standard 1821. The company operates across all three of Chile's principal sea-based aquaculture regions and serves many of the country's largest salmon producers. Since its establishment, Aqualis has developed a reputation as a partner to the industry through its focus on quality, transparency and technical expertise. Its inspection and certification services combine specialist knowledge with advanced inspection technology in an integrated business designed to scale with customer demand. As regulatory scrutiny increases and expectations around infrastructure integrity, transparency and certification evolve, Chile's aquaculture sector is facing growing demand for comprehensive assurance services. "Chile is one of the world's most important aquaculture producers and continues to play a leading role in the industry's development," said Geir Fuglerud, CEO of Life Sciences at DNV. "As regulatory expectations continue to evolve, producers increasingly need assurance partners that combine technical expertise, operational scale and digital innovation. Robust infrastructure assurance underpins sustainable operations, supports fish welfare and helps build confidence across the aquaculture value chain. Aqualis has built an impressive reputation as a key business partner to many of Chile's leading producers, and together we are strengthening our ability to support a safe, sustainable and trusted aquaculture industry." DNV said the acquisition will strengthen the support available to producers as they manage infrastructure risks and demonstrate compliance with regulatory requirements. "Effective infrastructure assurance is about much more than meeting regulatory requirements. It provides operators with confidence that critical assets are performing as intended, while giving them the insight needed to manage risk proactively. We can help producers make better-informed decisions, strengthen asset integrity and support safe, reliable operations throughout the lifecycle of their farms," said Rikard Albrigtsen, International Business Development Lead at DNV. Aqualis's service offering includes a proprietary digital platform that gives customers access to inspection findings, infrastructure status, certificates and historical records for each farming site. The platform provides traceability across inspections and enables producers to track infrastructure conditions, demonstrate regulatory compliance and improve oversight of their assets. It is also designed to streamline certification throughout the lifecycle of aquaculture infrastructure. "Joining DNV marks an exciting milestone for Aqualis," said Nicolas Mayer-Rechnitz de Petris, Managing Director of Aqualis. "Since our establishment, our ambition has been to deliver a more transparent approach to aquaculture infrastructure assurance. Becoming part of DNV allows us to build on that vision by combining our local expertise with DNV's global assurance experience, creating even greater value for customers as regulatory expectations continue to evolve." The acquisition will combine Aqualis's local market knowledge and digital inspection capabilities with DNV's international assurance experience, broadening the services available to Chilean aquaculture producers as regulatory and operational requirements develop.
